We went with a larger group, 8 people, and had a little bit of trouble finding enough room for all of us but the waiters were really accommodating! The menu that night was a good deal, 130 dirhams for three courses both options for the main course included either meat or fish, but they had vegetarian options outside of the... More

With lovely views of the ocean. The restaurant itself is quaint and painted in white and blue. A place to rest and recover with views to help.

We went here for brunch. The terrace was nearly full so we had to sit on the tiny chairs, wasn't great. Perhaps a suggestion is to fill the whole terrace with couches. The food was great, juices too. The waiting time for the food was quite long, there was only one waiter working who had to climb all those stairs... More

We didn't stay long enough to have dinner. But tea on the rooftop terrace was a very nice and relaxed experience after the Kasbah Museum. Luckily for us the place was empty, so no problem to be a lounge potato. Staff were very friendly and the tea with cookies a delight. Enjoy this restful setting together with an amazing view... We went here following our guidebook and found the view to be amazing. We stayed for dinner, and it was fabulous (fresh fish caught that day)! While we were eating, quite a few people got turned away because the wait was too long. I recommend getting their early OR making a reservation.

we went for lunch and didn't expect too much, as we tried many Moroccan restaurants in Tangier before that. after trying our starters (avocado paste and hummus + tomato salad with cheese), we were both amazed by the taste and the modern touch of the classic dishes! the mains (chicken tagine and fish of the day) were both amazingly tasty!... Description
A bit of history about Le Salon Bleu and The Kasbah Neighbourhood This quaint traditional Moroccan house is situated directly in what used to be the ancient stables of the Sultan`s Palace, and for a long while it had also served as a home for visiting British diplomats. The celebrated 17th century writer Samuel Pepys was notorious for writing endlessy in his journal under the fig tree just next to the small courtyard. Francis Bacon had a painting studio on the same street and the Rolling Stones lived just a stones throw away. The Kasbah has long inspired writers and artists of the twentieth century: Matisse, Delacroix, Kerouac, Jean Genet, William Burroughs, Paul Bowles... so we`ve opened up this small salon and restaraunt so that you may drink coffee and enjoy the ocean view while resting in their proverbial ribcages. Le Salon Bleu has been highly recommended by the international press and tour guides: New York Times, Le Monde, Liberation, Le Figaro, Lonelyplanet, Guide du Routard, Guide Michelin, Elle, Marie-Claire, L'Officiel, Vogue...
