Why I am giving 1 star? Simply cause I am not allowed to give none. Sound bit harsh doesn't it? Please keep up with me and I will share the headlines then you will be the judge *Sitting to the table was with a warm...welcoming *Waiter who served us brought us the wrong dish as we ordered Tortilla then ended up with fries and 1 egg on top which is not of our interest *Calling the waiter to see what went wrong then he took the dish away so far so good right? *Few minutes the waiter with so much rudeness saying we have touched the plate so we must pay for it which we didn't eat a piece from it *Here the disappointment started, at the end paid everything including the unwanted dish as it is not about money but more about service, I could simply not pay and I have all right and create a huge fuss which I didn't *Asked for the manager to explain that this is not okay and the waiter brought me another waiter playing the role of a Manager like I am so stupid to believe *Went down to claim and then the same server came and start lying that we have eaten from the dish *the waiter was raising his voice at me which was unbelievable and disrespectful *Seriously for a restaurant like El Tangerino it just went down the hill as a simple sorry could have avoided all of these trouble and frustration *Last thing as a person who works in Tourism I don't recommend it at allMore

A booking for 6 of us was very well catered for at Le Tangerino. It was very busy, which is always a good sign but the level of service was still very good. We all had different meals but everyone enjoyed theirs. My starter of...a seafood salad was very good and the seafood linguine was also tasty and a good portion. Personally, I thought the prices were reasonable and I will definitely return next time business takes me back to Tangier.More

Average food with a limited menu. Very noisy and cramped. Slow service . Average decor and reasonably clean. Main street location opposite beach.

I have been traveling in Morocco for 26 days and have decided to catch up with all my hotel and restaurant reviews. With the benefit of so many places to compare, I believe my reviews reflect an accurate description of these places in the market....this place in Tangier is located right on the walkway across from the beach. The menu and food were interesting and good. The service though was totally unattentive. It took several attempts to get the final bill. I had to go to the bar and tell the barman I was going to leave without paying if I didnt get the check immediately after waiting 15 minutes.... Unlike others, I thought the menu prices seemed fair for the quality - but the wine prices were far too high - particularly considering the generally low quality of the wines on offer. Worth a stop though if you are in Tangier for just a couple of days. This restaurant elevates what you think of as a Moroccan restaurant.More

We chose downstairs as non-smoking area. The complete floor was decor as a fish boat-very creative. The calamari was very tasty. The lounge music was not annoying at all.

We were tired after a long day and looking for something on the Tangier Mohammed VI waterfront. This place has good atmosphere, good service, and very good tapas. We felt very comfortable, weren't rushed, and happy to have stopped here.

Prices in the menu do not reflect what could be charged in the end (e.g. lobster). The manager consistently hides behind the fact that the owner is the sole decision maker and that he has no intention to rectify prices in the menu. Waiters end...up making up for the establishment losses out of their own pockets when the client refuses to pay the surprising tabs that come in the end, and this seems to be a frequent occurrence. Food is generally overpriced, despite being average at best. Bottom line: steer clear from food. That would only be a decent place for a few drinks given the location and the relatively proper atmosphere.More

I love it!!!! Strongly recommend :) Good service and friendly staffs. Chefs are ready for you with fresh seafood. I have never written the review on trip-advisor, but this is I should!! Amazing dishes, thanks for the experience! More

Our hotel recommended this restaurant and it was amazing. Lots of delicious tapas, great wine selection and impeccable service. We only had two nights in Tangier; however, had we had another night we definitely would have dined with the folks at Tangerino again.
