Hidden behind a busy main road facade. A lovely gazebo fronted dinning area. Good choice of Moroccan dishes. With menues in Arabic, French and English. Very helpful and attentive staff. Food was of a high standard and reasonably priced.

We tried La Menora because it was walking distance from our hotel and the TA reviews were good. We left disappointed with the quality of the food. The full (quite extensive) menu was not available on the mid-week night we visited, but we had no problem finding desirable dishes. For entrees, we had the beef cigars - very good, and... More

On a business trip to Rabat, I was told that I could not leave if I did have the Couscous at this restaurant. I think I had gone during Muslim prayer service , which is why the restaurant was almost completely empty. And I would suggest going there to avoid a wait, as this is an extremely popular restaurant. The... More

Once you managed to find this traditional ryad-style modern moroccon eatier, signature dishes are the pastille 4-dish salad, soup, like hood broth, brochettes with soft potatoes A pleasing experience with unsual flavours and a price to match, just was''t that outstanding (overall) to repeat

The menu is very varied and the prices are reasonable. We had some excellent Moroccan starters followed by delicious grilled sole. Good wine list. Very friendly owner and staff. Attractive decor. Easy to locate - just near the Tour Hassan tram stop.

We had dinner here tonite with another couple and the food, service, setting and price were outstanding. In addition to what you order for dinner, you also get plates of olives and pickled vegetables. The inside of the restaurant has beautiful tile work and while the menu is just in French, between the owner and the wait staff, you can... More

We had a group of 15 people and the owner opened his restaurant especially for us. That being the case, there was not a large menue to choose from and the server was over-loaded. No one receive their meal at the same time. I had the calamari and it was excellent. My husband had the shrimp. It was ok, but... More

We visited this restaurant on our last day and wished we had discovered it earlier. I would strongly recommend trying out the Mrouzia traditional dish of lamb with raisins! Remember to thank me by sending a donation to your favourite charity.

I would go back to Rabat to eat the best souris d'agneau in the world. Strangely it is the only dish whose taste I believe I can describe even today. This never, ever happened to me before! When we walked in, the restaurant was deserted and I thought the fountain on the wall was a strange setting that only induced... More
