We went for dinner and had a pretty bad experience. There was only a few things available on the menu and the waiter very unhelpful. We both got the egg with meatballs. It was tasty but the negatives outweighed the good food. The service and choice was horrendous!

We were recommended by our riad to have dinner here during Ramadan while my husband is fasting. It was quite the experience as everyone is sitting in front of a full plate and drinks at the same time, and suddenly when that call to prayer comes, it's a frenzy of eating and drinking. It was the most authentic experience we've... More

While we were passing through Rabat, our driver/guide took us to Dar Naji, and joined us for lunch. It's a very nice place, looking out over the busy streets below. The food was mostly good, but the waiter brought us a rather pricy item that we did not order. Our guide immediately brought it to the waiter's attention, but he... More

This place was recommended as a good introduction to Moroccan food. We went and had a good experience. Waiter offered to do a menu for us, so we had a wide selection of plates, but way too much. The servings are large, and it is done family style. We had a chicken pastry to start, slightly sweet, that was very... More

We have been there on the advice of the Riad's owner where we stayed in Rabat. We found a very pleasant and characteristic place, nice people and unforgettable food served with kindness and a bit of humour!! Very good prices , the more if compared to the food quality and variety A place we'd suggest to anyone spending some days... More

Visited Dar Naji on the recommendation of a friend; I had the veal tajine, my partner had the veal shish kebabs. The meat in both was exquisitely cooked. However the sides let the amazing meat down somewhat. The chips (fries) ordered were really low grade and tasteless, and the vegetables that came with the kebab were bedraggled and tasted of... Excellent location a very short walk from the Medina near a tram stop. Authentic decor, everything fresh and tasty, very reasonable prices. An ideal place for a lunch or dinner.

fast served and very good it is a place where locals go and a nice experience to eat inmidst..because then you know it is really typical - the seating - everything. the fact that there are also burgers on the menu shows that the tastes here are changing too.
