We ate here with a small group of 15 and were seated upstairs in a nice, screened off room. Others we saw were eating at tables outside in the sunshine. The starters and bread were tasty, and service was fast and attentive - although the room was freezing and they could not get the heater working. The vegetable soup of... More

We had a group lunch here on a visit to Meknes. They served us a starter of lentils, beans, & eggplant. The bread was very fresh. The main course was tangine beef. It was the best meal we have had since we came to Morocco 4 days ago. They served fresh fruit for dessert. The service was very good. The... More

Food isn't bad, but the restaurant is set up for huge amounts of people (even though our tour was the only customers, save three locals). For lunch, it was okay, but the meal was hardly memorable. Waitstaff seemed harried, even though the place wasn't crowded.

Took us to the terrace. Gave us a set menu at lunch time. We had to ask for the A la carte menu. The prices were about three times the normal prices. We walked out and were offered discounts on the way out. But we did not stay as we did not like being hustled.

One of the biggest restaurants we’ve ever seen, clearly designed to handle masses of tour busses. If you can get a spot on the 3rd floor terrace there is a nice view of the city to be had. The food was very good and priced in line with other tourist restaurants we encountered.

Every time I visit Meknès I visit Restaurant Salma. The view from their roof terrrace is great and guarantees a wonderful dinner in the sunset with excellent Moroccan cuisine. Their card is not very big, but they what they serve is good quality.

We ate upstairs in a spacious dining room. Excellent Moroccan cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere. Although we were a group, we were spread out on cushions and chairs in the Moroccan style.

A great recommendation by our guide. The views from the third floor are amazing, the food was really delectable (salad was we had roasted lamb and chicken kebabs), the price was very reasonable. Also, the server was extra accommodating and nice.

An average meal in a huge restaurant. Our group ordered tagines for each and they were OK. Not the best we had in Morocco but not the worse either. If you happen to be in Meknes around lunch pay them a visit.

Great view from the top floor of Menes and the underground prison. Just walk from the square through the gates to the mausoleum and it's on the right hand side. Try to go to the top floor for lunch. Climbing the stairs will help your appetite
