Upon the recommendation of our Riad we made a reservation at this restaurant and it was wonderful. We tend to eat early so were able to book for 7 p.m. and it was very quiet. Service was good and the tradition Moroccan cuisine was delicious...which is saying a lot as we had been in Morocco for a month and were not expecting much. The salmon tangine and the lemon chicken were cooked to perfection. The terrace did become quite busy by 7:30 so I would suggest eating early.More

This roof top at the main square of Marrakech is a nice retreat if you are ready to climb 2 steep flights of stairs for find yourself in the atmosphere of berber music and traditional moroccan food. The view of the square and Medina is...great. The food is quite good and the service is friendly. Enjoy great grills, couscous of a salad.More

A fabulous spot overlooking the Jeema el Fna square with superb views of sunset. The service was good and the drinks (alcoholic) reasonably priced. We were lucky and got a table but would recommend booking as it does get very busy for sunset.

I have visited here twice now and each time was very please. Food was great, interior lovely and authentic. Great view whilst sitting in the window over the square. Really enjoyed the bellydancers that entertain at the restaurant. Also serves alcohol, which is quite difficult...to find in Marrakesh. Look forward to returning again in May.More

Great to find good food with wine & cocktails overlooking the square. The sunset view was stunning, shoulder of lamb exceptional, music & belly dancing added to the lovely atmosphere.

We ate here one evening after visiting the market! What a fabulous place in a superb location. Whilst we couldn't reserve a table on the top floor with the panoramic windows, the manager reserved us the corner table in the mosaic tiled room with an...open window view over the souk. The ambience was superb, the view fantastic and the food was excellent. We had a lamb tagine and a beef tagine which were both gorgeous! The staff were very attentive without being too intrusive and were happy to change the couscous to rice when I explained I was gluten free! I would definitely recommend the restaurant if you are looking for some authentic morrocan cuisine in authentic surroundings.More

Ideally situated on the corner of the rue Riad Zitoun Jdid , Le Marrakchi has a great position overlooking the big square. Make sure you arrive in time to see the sunset. Full of tourists and the wait for food was rather long but the...lamb and prune tajine was worth the wait. In fact, it was just as well as we would have missed the belly dancers and the lady with the tray and candles on her head! Good place for your first dinner to get you in the mood!More
