So after reading a few reviews (good and average) we thought we'd give our view, along with some of the things we wish we'd known. So first things first the place and the night you'll have there is an incredible experience so go and enjoy! Now we've established that the things we'd wished we'd known. The first is the journey... We went there for my husbands birthday. I made sure after reading reviews to book a table in the centre (tables surrounding the water feature). We arrived and were guided up to the terrace for drinks and to listen to the live music which was great. We were then guided down stairs to a side room for starters (our table... More

The recepcion was perfect. The sunset drinks at the rooftop with the music was perfect. I must say that i was really expecting more especially from the food. The food was good but nothing special or different .... the tagine (one of the highlights) was regular. The pastry dessert was really good :) but for the price ..... Was an... More

Go hungry!! The amount of food they serve is enormous. You start by going to the roof and having a cocktail and watching local musicians while the sun sets. Then they escort you to your table and the menu is set. The food was outstanding -- but way too much. Seriously -- don't eat all day. The staff is so... More

Perhaps my expectations were too high, but this was a Destination Dinner--the restaurant is famously chic. I would agree with some of that. Here are the highlights: perfectly crisp wine and cocktails on the rooftop were served by an excellent bar manager at sunset with the easiest band of two musicians to make it magical. The best part of the... More

We visited Dar Yacout earlier this week and were surprised at its location. It is in a very run down and dismal part of old Marrakesh and in a dead end square which, luckily, our taxi driver knew. Once inside the place is spectacular and very Morrocan. We were directed up to the roof for drinks and nibbles and to... More

To start with, the Interior is breathtaking! Unfortunately, the food was not, the starters being the best of a somewhat boring choice of moroccan cuisine. Even worse was the waste of food displayed here: we were only two but the amount of food served to us would have been enough for four. But the worst was the total lack of... More

Excellent dining experience at this hidden gem. You'll struggle to find the front door but once you do you are in for a real treat! It's the atmosphere and surroundings that make this such a special place. The food is better than most in Morocco however not the best you can find however i believe it offers very good value... Go to this place if you want to enjoy a meal in a traditional Riad. The place is magical and don't miss the picture on the roof. Food is delicious and opulent, even if a bit expensive. However it is worth.
