The food was delicious. Even the mint tea was the best I tried in Morocco. I had the vegetarian tagine. It was very flavourful. I had one issue with the service, everyone seemed to be waiting an extremely long time to be served. I noticed...one group sitting for at least 20minutes without receiving a menu. I believe this delay may have been related to Ramadan, but it would have been nice if this was made clear before guests were seated. I would not recommend going here if you are short on time, but the food made up for it for me.More

Very nice food, good portions, helpfull and friendly staff. And the ravioli was amazing! Also quote a few vegetarian options, especially compared to most other places in the medina.

We soaked up the winter sunshine on the rooftop terrace of this cafe, which offers 360-degree views over the medina. The meals we ordered were perfectly fine without being spectacular in any way, and service was much the same.

Nestled in the busy medina this unassuming place is one to visit. From the outside it looks like a small cafe then you climb the multiple flights of stairs to the terraces & wow just stunning. We were recommended the pastilla & it was fabulous!...Service a little slow but they were super busy! Would visit again.More

Don’t know why, they didn’t care about us. Initially they just asked us to sit downstairs where they had uncomfortable chairs, at least not very nice to have dinner. Then we said that we want to sit upstairs. Then the service is awfully slow. A...pot of tea came long after we finished our dinner. Then the guy manage to topple the glass with tea on the table. The food itself is ok. There are far better places in Marrakech with better food.More

We stopped here twice in our week stay. The food choices are limited but everything we had was freshly cooked/assembled and was delicious. The Moroccan Bruschetta selection was very good. If you can get up to the roof terrace it is worth it (second visit...it was booked out). Recommended if passing.More

We're glad we came here! Stunning views, lovely decor and good value. Food is simple but tasty. Fun to watch people bustling around in the streets below. Music turned down at sunset (which is so pretty!) so that the prayer calls can be heard ringing...out across the city. Such a lovely experience.More

We stumbled into this spot and we’re so glad we did. They had great coffee and good food we had a fresh quinoa tabouli and It was delicious as well as a good ravioli. The food people were eating around is all looked good too....The best part of Atay is their terrace thigh. There are multiple levels and they are all equipped with varied shade and misting hoses. It made it one of the most pleasant places to grab a bite over a book or just take in the views for a while.More

Went twice. First night the food and waiters were amazing. Second time it was absolutely disgusting with out of date food, and rude uncaring staff. My daughter was very ill after having the burrata which tasted sour. Hit and miss food and service

We came here twice in our stay in Marrakesh. Super good food, stunning view, right in the middle of the souks. Nice staff and a very low price! Must try the hummus

By accident my wife and I bumped into this amazing rooftop restaurant and we didn’t came across any better one in Marrakech. Great food, very good service and beautiful view at day end by night. Forget the famous rooftops like Nomad and go to Atay...instead.More

Get there before 12 if you fancy lunch as it’s gets filled up quickly. Or late afternoon for sundown. If going at height of summer always take a fan as it gets hot. Must try their green lime drink. Maybe not as appetising... More
