Ate at many restaurants - all of them struggling with a proper wifi connection... till we tried Cafe Kessabine for breakfast. Breakfast was good. Reasonably priced. BUT great wifi connection.... :-) Good views of Marrakech as well. Highly recommended.

This cafe on Jemaa El-fna is ideally located yet still a great price. We ate the kebab tajine and special cous cous; both were delicious. The views are wonderful over the square but the top terrace can get busy so we missed out on the best views. We would definitely eat there again, despite it being slightly unorganized, ending up... We went to Cafe Kessabine since it was featured in the Lonely Planet guide to Marrakech. The food was decent and the service was fast. I ordered the Tanjia which was lamb slow cooked in a clay pot, which was absolutely delicious, tender and flavourful. However, for 75 dirham you didn't get very much lamb. I got two chunks and... We came here on our first evening in Marrakech as we liked the look of the menu and the roof terrace. 2 of us had a mixed grill and the other 2 had vegan and vegetarian meals. All of it was very tasty and nicely presented. No alcohol but a good selection of healthy drinks. The spiced tea was gorgeous.

We ate lunch here on the last full day of our trip. Staff very friendly, but a bit disorganised. Great view of the square and one of the large entrances to the Souk - great place for people watching from the second floor and roof terrace. A large varied menu. The food is very good, especially the Pastiya Poulet and... More

We didn't get a table on the terrace which would have been great but downstairs was good enough. The service was very friendly and the food was good - tagines were quite small and had boiled off leaving the food a bit dry. Tagine kefta and kebab were both very tasty. We paid 300 Dh for 4 including soda and... More

Its a nice pleasant place but we have never had such a small tagine in two weeks traveling all over Morroco :))) but it was delicious in our case and we ate well, we had no desert no coffe so I can't, give an opinion about that.

My partner and I went here for coffee and desert. We had a creme brûlée which was amazing! One of the best ones I've ever had. We also had vanilla ice cream which tasted like traditional Italian ice cream. Both the deserts were great. We also had coffees which were very standard but nice. I would recommend getting a desert... More

We visited here twice on a 4day trip to Marrakesh.Staff very friendly and food great value. I'd say plain and simple in a good sense. Nothing fancy but great for a pit stop from the busy square and great to sit back and watch everything going on around you. Had the chicken and veg tagine. We would go back again.
