It started off pretty well - the restaurant looks nice. But then the older guys with money starts entering, swiping on Tinder while surrounded but girls half their age. I am no prude but it king of killed it for us. And the live music was a bit of a joke. Less tight band i have rarely heard.

We were in Marrakech for 4 days and ate twice at African Chic. Although this night club typically starts "rolling" after midnight, the restaurant opens at 8 PM. The steaks were as juicy and tasteful as I have had in many years and the mood and music after midnight were par excellence!

I went there while visiting Marrakech this month. What a great experience! It is the perfect combination between a restaurant and a club. We danced all night (they close at 4:00am) to the live music and still were able to enjoy some tapas and delicious fresh oysters! I especially enjoyed the ambiance of the place. Would recommend to friends!

Zebra restaurant within African Chic has even become better since my last visit. Fresh Oysters and Sea Urchins, Cigalle crayfish and succulent steaks served with decent Moroccan wine followed by the house specialty, a home made lemon ice cream served in a frozen lemon. All this for little money served professionally and friendly. After dinner dance the night away in... More

Visted for what I thought would be a night of dancing, only to find that there was no African music and the place was full of aggressive prostitutes and European males lining the bar. There was a live band however this is typical of nightclubs in Marrakesh. I haven't had the food, thus I cannot comment on that but I... More

Very interesting night club, it has it all. True, like many reviewers say, it is a camouflaged brothel, but it is so much more than that. A must for the open minded when visiting Marrakech!

We visited African-chic believing it to be an upstanding restaurant/bar that would provide great live music and a good atmosphere. We arrived quite early, around 10pm for drinks and initially were struck by how aesthetically cool the place was. The decor was amazing and gave a real vibrance to the place, however this vibrance was not matched by the service... More

If you come early it seems empty but the cozy kitschy restaurant called Le Zebre will astonish you with its culinary and clasical French dishes. Impeccable and friendly service which is rare in this city complete your dining experience. And in the end you will be surprised to have eaten and drank so well for so little money. Stay on... More

at midnight or so, some girls started miming to popular tunes, and then some guy didn't even move his mouth while pretending to sing some barry white-song. plossibly all the girls at the bar where prostitutes, but it was nice to see some females atlast, after walking the streets of marrakech where the people out are 80% male. however they...
