We visited Le Salama during Ramadan and were immediately impressed by the decor and the fact that they served shisha - which was surprisingly hard to find in Marrakesh - the cocktails were excellent and the vibe was so relaxed and comfortable in contrast to...More

I visited Le Salama twice. Last year and this year. I wasnt 100% happy first time but decided to give it a go second time. Only because they offer shisha. And its not something very easy to find in Marrakech. Shisha cost 150 dirhams. Happy...More

It is of course difficult to find places that serve alcohol in Marrakech, especially during Ramadan. However we arrived here and there was a large choice of cocktails, wine and beer. Cocktails were around 85DH and beer 75DH, which I did not think was hugely...More

I don't think there are any time restrictions on Shisha - so do try as I think they will serve all day.

This restaurant/ bar is a true find. Located just meters off Djema el Fna square it has an ambience and elegance not previously found on the square. Having just opened in December 2011 the service is superb and vibrant. Le Salama is spread over 3 levels allowing to cater for over 200 guests and is crowned with a panoramic terrace overlooking the Atlas mountains and a 360 degree view of the medina. The menu offers modern Moroccan cuisine including delights such as Monkfish Tagine or Lamb Shank with caramelized tomatoes and poached pear. Mouthwatering! This is the perfect place for a tea break, sipping a cocktail or a good local Moroccan wine or even having a meal after shopping in the souk.
