Le Zinc is a good choice if you are shopping in the industrial zone off the Safi road on the outskirts of Marrakech. It offers French-style bistro food with a modern twist. Our fish dish was perfectly cooked, good fresh fish with a classic beurre blanc sauce. Appetizers were less successful. My husband's sautéed veal head was way too greasy... More

I never post bad comments but this time, this is too much... Damien ruined our wedding dinner. My concerns are exactely the same as others customers issues that I can read in TripAdvisor, but I know a lot of persons who certainly will never recommend "Damien Durand Traiteur". We taste very good things at "Le Zinc" and we had absolutely... More

Really enjoyed a fantastic lunch - artichoke salad and Paris Marrakech dessert (Paris Brest) - authentic food and MOST of the staff was lovely.

Le Zinc is a French Bistro in industrial area Sidi Ghanem. The restaurant does not look very much from the oitside but has a great atmosphere and fantastic food. The menu is quite small but lots of good things. We went here for lunch and had a great meal. Service is good and food was excellent. I will definately go... More

Excellent French food This place hidden in the industrial district of Marrakech is just amazing. The food is French as long as the chef. I love the concept: A large black board with 3 starters, 3 main courses and 3 deserts to choose from. Simple and delicious. Try it you’ll love it!

We had lunch at this fantastic restaurant in anticipation of using the chef as our caterer for our wedding. The atmosphere at the restaurant was fantastic and the place was packed with a very upmarket crowd of locals and French expats. We used Durant Traiteur for our wedding at Ksar Char Bagh, which was a massive success. The chef of... More

This is a bar restaurant set in an industrial area. Decor themed on cigars and Cuba sets the scene. Food is amazing service not quite to match food quality but ok. A bit of a drive to get here but we came from pre dinner drinks at La Mamounia. We were a group of 14 that had made a booking... More

After a 20 min drive to the industrial area of the city we found this hidden treasure. We were greated bij the owner and although we were the only non-french speakers we never felt out of place. I was completly blown away bij my oeuf a la cocotte, and the fig tarte tatin was perfect! Although we came in at... More

Le Zinc, also known locally as "Le Bistro des Copains" was a brave bet by Damien Durand, its owner. A French chef trained by the best, he decided to set up in the middle of the MARRAKECH Industrial Zone known as Sidi Ghanem. Not an obvious choice! Well, he's won his bet. The French food is always delicious and impeccable.... More

If you want to eat really really well in Marrakech then you have to go to Le Zinc. Situated a little way out of the centre of town in the industrial zone of Sidi Ghanem, it is well worth the trip and there are some great shops in the neighbourhood. The menu is small with daily changes but the food... More
