I looked up the best tagine in Marrakech and was recommended this place so of course I was excited, to come here and taste the authentic moroccan food. We entered the little restaurant and were greeted by a heavily stressed and annoyed waiter. I suppose this is okay since they really had a lot to do. Everyone is first served... More

I couldn't wait to eat here after reading all the reviews on TA. After wandering around the souks on a hot Tuesday afternoon, I found a sign pointing towards the direction of the Tiznit. I found the purple backlit sign and went in and up a couple of flights of stairs to the open roof terrace overlooking the souk. I... More

We just had the most amazing rabbit tagine for two with daal accompanied by the traditional bread, harissa and olives. We chose to add chips as well (didn't need them though!). This was the best tagine we think we have had since we have been in Marrakech and all in cost 110 dihram with a Sprite and water. It is... More

Don't be deceived by looks, this place is THE BEST. We had lamb tagine and chicken roti, and honestly can say it was the most delicious meal we had on all our travels. And all for less than probably £12!! YUM.

Most of the eateries around the main square are quite expensive but this one is an exception. Food is high quality though I suspect some of it is brought in from outside. (noticed our food being brought in to the restaurant by carrier bag from somewhere else).

We usually eat there every year during our holiday. Good rabbit tajines and lamb tajines with a fruity taste of grapes for a descent price. Nice and quite if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the magical place jamaa el fnah.

Before coming to Marrakech we knew we wanted to dine authentically and after arriving in Marrakech to the madness, we fancied somewhere low key to savour the local offerings. This is what we got with Tiznit! We sat on the rooftop terrace which offered a birds eye view of the souks and local businesses packing up. It did not feel... More

We ate here as it had been recommended to us. What an excellent choice. There were four adults in our party when we ate here. We tried many main and side dishes of tagines, couscous, rice, lentils, salads, fritas, breads the list was long. The bill was incredibly cheap and perfect value for money. The food was outstanding. Service excellent.... More

Thanks to the doorman of one of the overpriced restaurants on Jemaa el Fna, we found this unassuming cafe which has received rave reviews. Our large family group was received with great courtesy, views from the terrace were as good as any and the food the most authentic we tasted in Marrakesh. From the rabbit tagine to the meatballs to... More

TizNit has a TripAdvisor certificate of excellence so I was hoping to be blown away. The restaurant itself is immaculately clean and inviting. The staff are delightful and helpful. The lentils were actually my favorite part of the meal. They are absolutely to die for!! The beef tajine was okay but for some reason had a strange flavor to it.... More
