This place has the best views of the Jemaa el fna square, three levels of seating with views, but the food and service leaves a lot to be desired.

From the outside looks like would be a nice experience. From the inside dated and very very VERY slow service. The WORST Moroccan tea we had the entire trip. Just one small glass with a few mint leaves inside (everywhere else at least gave a...pot of tea), yet the tea was also the most EXPENSIVE tea we had the entire time.....!? The ONLY good thing about this place is the view over the market... Didn’t eat the food, but saw some being brought out. Didn’t look particularly great in comparison to other nearby restaurants.More

This was such a strange experience. The cafe itself looks grand and well situated from the outside but on walking in, impressions change quickly. The food was very poor and definitely overpriced for what it was. We also found the staff to be quite rude...and inattentive. Would recommend that all avoid this place as it was rather an unpleasant experienceMore

Best view of the Médina, especially at night. We arrived in the evening and this was our first place we ate. Great food, great service. Highly recommend.

I think most people go here for coffee or a soft drink. It is right on the square and a great table to sit back and watch. The food is mediocre. Basically the same price as everywhere.

We chose the worst place of the main square to try to relax after a hectic day in the Medina. I guess they are trying to emulate the stereotype of French rude service? They really could not be bothered to serve us. My daughter asked...for a glass with ice and they “had none”. Asked for a cold bottle of water and it was barely below room temperature but of course no ice, even with 80 degrees F temperature. Ordered what in the picture was supposed to be an ice cream sundae with bananas and it was actually just vanilla ice cream with three tiny banana slices. And for almost us$10. Also, unpleasantly surprised when paying that they do not take credit cards. Many better terraces around the square.More

Worst meal in Marrakech & building unloved. What a shame that a landmark hotel / cafe cannot serve a tagine without swimming in fat & bones or the cheapest of frozen pizzas.

Situated on the famous main square. Apart from being a landmark this place has almost nothing to recommend it. Food and service terrible and overpriced. Only saving grace is the fantastic view across the square from the upper terraces. L’adresse nearby gets good reviews so...go there.More

Terrible food. Terrible slow service. And even worse tried to short change us of 100 dirrhim!!! Quick to ask for a tip. My tip would be don’t enter!! Only gave it one star for the view. Uncomfortable chairs and cheap tables. Table next to us...also thought food was rubbish. Don’t waste your time and r moneyMore
