Wonderful rooftop restaurant serving traditional Moroccan food. Polite friendly staff. Very reasonable and great place to get away from the confines of the Souk below

The owners of our Riad recommended the Souk Kafe to us and they were spot on! We would've gone back again and again had we had time. The rooftop is a nice getaway in the midst of all the hustle and bustle too. We had a tagine and a chicken/almond pastille (?) and they were both wonderful.

We went here a couple of times on our trip to Marrakech. So relaxing, really comfortable and delicious food. Try the traditional lamb and prune tagine, it was one of the best I had in Morocco. Great prices and friendly service, you really cant go wrong. I would definitely recommend!

We'd ready about Souk Kafe and thought we'd give it a go. We headed straight for the rooftop terrace to enjoy the sunshine and it was really lovely. It's not a huge space so is quite intimate. The service was prompt and friendly. The food was fairly traditional moroccan and very tasty. There wasn't a huge amount of it so... More

We went here for lunch and it was lovely. I had the selection platter and it was all really tasty. Our waiter even helped us with directions. Very steep stairs to get on the roof terrace.

Excellent food, perfect setting sat on a roof terrace above the Souks. Staff were friendly and helpful, assisting us with directions and supplying us with a map!

We ate here twice during our stay - both times for an evening meal. The food is traditional Morrocan and everything we had was really tasty. Staff are friendly and restaurant itself has a cosy and traditional feel. It was best value place to eat we found with the best food too.

While in Marrakech my husband and I came to Souk Kafe twice. The first time was to take a break from the hot day and grab a cold mint tea. It was absolutely amazing! So much mint and a bit citrusy. Two nights later we came back for food, and it didn't disappoint at all....best meal we had in Marrakech!... More

01.09.13 - Read the reviews on Trip Advisor as well as Guide Routard and although it was a 20 walk for us, we decided to go. So glad we did. We opted for the 180Dh menu and it was amazingly generous. I would advise that if you are starving or very hungry then go for it. We had the Morrocan... More

Yes, like all the good gems in ancient city quarters like Marrakech, this restaurant is hard to find. But well worth it! We got the larger of the two set price fixed menus. And boy did it fill us up! The starter of 6 different dips - amazing! There was a carrot and rosewater one, plus quite a few that... More
