Probably one of the best meals we had in Morocco

Despite getting very turn around while trying to find Souk Cafe, we were very happy we persevered after we ate here! Husb and I had the menu de jour (fixed price) with soup, a choice of tagine and yoghurt for dessert. It was generally good quality, the Harira soup was surprisingly mild but the flavour developed as you ate it - it was also very filling and served with local bread and honeyed dates. Husb's tagine of beef meatballs with egg... More

Found this place through lonely planet and would highly recommend! We went here 3 times in our 3 days and there was one waiter who was just divine! The vegetarian salad tasting plate is a MUST, as are the fries. I'm not vegetarian, and tried the meat dishes too (which were amazing). Good location, helpful service and yummy yummy food... More

Found it through trip advisor. Lived up to the review. Amazing service from a lovely guy who taught us some Arabic words and told us about the mountain town he was from

We had dinner in the terrace, a bit cold but very nice and cosy atmosphere. The waiter was really nice and kind. Traditional tasty food and large portions (maybe even too big!) . Worthwhile !

The elephant-grey tadelakt in the entrance to this little vertical cafe is soft and welcoming. Climb the vertiginous stairway to the first floor where you can eat indoors, serenaded by two cheerful and skilled local musicians most evenings. On the small rooftop you will be greeted by the friendly staff who offer the traditional selection of Moroccan foods. The set... More

Souk Kafe is a great place to have breakfast, lunch and dinner. The staff is very friendly and helpful and speak English as well. We truly enjoyed our very hearty breakfast/lunch here and recommend everyone to try the assortment of Moroccon salads!

The place was beautiful, staff were absolutely lovely and the food good, but it is hidden in a very narrow and secluded street area away from the main square, and, as two women alone in the evening we were followed by many dubious 'guides' who would not take "no" for an answer. These men were very persistent and we felt... More

Nice little quiet cafe. Had a cup of tea and sat with there with the sun coming down. Nothing special, just very real, nice and quiet.

All in all, the whole experience we had in Souk Cafe was extremely positive! We had two of their menus, and what a great food it was. Especially we enjoyed their vegetarian meals. The portions were big, and we left with no hunger. In addition to having such tasty food made from good ingredients, the whole place was beautiful and... More
