We went for a coffee break after hours of walking around the Medina. We had heard that it was rather expensive (the food menu actually did look pretty expensive); however, the coffee/tea menu was actually outstanding! Furthermore, I got an ICED COFFEE - the only place in all of Morocco where I have found this (apart from Starbucks, obviously). We... More

Enjoyed a typical local tagine dinner here on the roof terrace surrounded by Moroccan lanterns, gas heaters and cosied up in blankets. A wonderful retreat from the hustle and bustle of the Medina down below. Very nice ambience and food very good indeed, if slightly overpriced for local fayre. Very attentive service all evening. Happy to revisit though and certainly... More

It was quite a pricey place in comparison to many restaurants in Marrakech. For that there was quite a wide selection of food, you could purchase alcohol, and there were many deserts. The food was nice, nothing special, though the portions were good and it was still perfectly tasty, the deserts were excellent, there was bread and olives, and excellent... More

We enjoyed a fabulous dinner here in January up on the rooftop, surrounded by lanterns and the lights of the medina. Everything here was excellent, from our cocktails and appetizers to our main dishes and dessert. Service was impeccable and the atmosphere on the rooftop is truly magical. Highly recommended.

La Terrasse is a Marrakech classic. It's a relief after getting lost in the Medina. There are both outdoor and covered sittings. Service is very good, food is nice both for Moroccan food and international, and alcohol is served which is rare in the Medina. It's quite a fashionable spot for the visitors of Marrakech, so VIPS tend to come... More

A group of 8 ladies went for lunch and it was so lovely - the atmosphere, the staff, the food - that we stayed all afternoon and had dinner here too. I think that tells you what a wonderful find this was.

The restaurant is really very charming -- a large terasse with cozy tables and romantic lighting at night. But it appears to cater almost entirely to European and North American tourists, which is not surprising given the prices. Our meal came out to over dh600 -- including a (very large and delicious) salad, plus three mains between us, and two... More

We enter the terrasse des épices by chance, while lost in the souk. It's a nice stop for recharging energies, having a tea and some pastries. Prices are much above city average, but it's comforting reaching a place where nobody is pushing you to buy anything and you are a bit left to yourself.

The 'Terrace' can get quite busy at lunchtime, so go early but a very reasonable menu, stick to the local dishes.

First day in Marrakesh and decided to head here upon the recommendation of a friend who's husband is from Marrakesh. Lovely and stylish setting, staff all impeccable and friendly. Great food, the mixed starters looked great but I could only look on with envy at the one the table next to us ordered. Pretty serene up there after the chaos... More
