Having stayed in Marrakesh for 2 weeks and eaten more than my fair share of tangines, I returned to Le Trou because I recalled there was fish and chips, Mac n cheese, and Shepard’s pie on the menu (score!). As it turned out, it was...Friday, so I opted for the special of the day, which is always a couscous. Like each of the other meals I had enjoyed at Le Trou, this was delicious. Do save room for either the refreshing glace’s or one of the yummy desserts.More

Le Trou au Mur was probably one my favorite restaurants in Marrakech. The food was very good with modern touches on Moroccon and Middle-Eastern classics. The decor inside the restaurant and the rooftop views were also great. You can spend long hours with friend on...a night enjoying the Moroccon atmosphere.More

The place is a bit out of the way and the approach to the area looked a bit questionable, however, it is a safe area and once you enter the restaurant, it's amazing. The tables had a beautiful purple table cover and napkins. The waiter...who seated us was very attentive and the service at first was impeccable. Later on as other guests came in, the service got a bit slow, but perhaps because the kitchen got really busy as well. The head chef came by and said hello to all tables and gave a very personable welcome to everyone. The wine is priced appropriately and the food is not only Michelin star in its presentation, but delicious as well. Would highly recommend the 14 bite size shared Moroccan salad as well as the Vermicelli chicken. Superb!More

The service was excellent. Helpful , professional & polite. The food matched the service. Excellent. The 4 of us shared some mixed Moroccan salads which were beautifully presented and very tasty. Quite small servings. The mains were lovely. We alll enjoyed what we had ....The mechoui in particular was fantasticMore

Delightful rooftop dinning with lighting so romantic and perfect. We asked our waiter to help us with wine to complement the Moroccan meal we selected. Everything was amazing! Including the service. Ended up going here twice. Will visit again soon.

This place was recommended by Moroccans who were vacationing in Marrekech. With that as a recommendation we gave it a try. The place was just wonderful. Plan ahead if you want a reservation on the roof garden...in fact, if you want a place at all...on "date nights." We were unhappy with "guides" who wanted to show us the way from the cab stand, not because we didn't need help, but because they said they were from the restaurant and not only were they not employees they had a very definite idea for their tip. Better to call ahead and co-ordinate with the restaurant, who does have runners that will meet and escort guests.More

A good menu of local and international favourites. A glass of house wine can be had for 40DH. The roof terrace is very pleasant. Roast lamb is their speciality.

In this place I dont think it matters. They are pretty western. Its women unfortunately who have to dress more conservatively.
