A nice break from the traditional Moroccan food

We had a delicious lunch here upon recommendation from our hotel. Out of the three plates we had, one was average (the quiche), one was good (my husbands fish in a curry sauce), and one that was fantastic (the tomato salad with a basil gelato). The moroccan wine here was also excellent.

Le Grand Cafe de la Poste. such a calm Venue near to the center of the City. Food, atmosphere, staff and surroundings are of the highest order. yes it's pricey, but it's just a great escape of a venue, day or night. On some evenings they have live Jazz music or some calm soul music. The top floor lounge area... More

We stopped here after visiting the Jardin Majorelle. The owner of our hotel suggested it to get a break from the tasty Maroccan food. The restaurant is situated in the old post office. The staff is really nice and welcoming. Menu had nice and seasonal options. Portion are not too small but I'd suggest to get a starter and a... More

Located in the new part of the city this is a very fashionable place to spend an afternoon with an international paper and people watch the glamorous local clientele. Drinks and food are similar in price to many places in the medina. Drinks were excellent.

Whilst keeping a Marrakech vibe alive and well, this is a chic brasserie style French restaurant. There a good menu with a lot of choice - whether for lunch or dinner and we did both this week! The wine list is good too and Moroccan wine is always a good option. The staff are friendly and helpful. It is a... More

Went here many times during our week in Marrakech - always around lunchtime for a wine/beer and very good snack lunches. The other meals coming out all looked good, and its obviously a well used spot by locals (many European). Relaxed and informal, loved coming here after a busy morning sightseeing or shopping!

If you feel like getting urban feelings in Marrakech then probably Le Grand Cafe de la Poste is the right place to go. Away from the loud an dusty streets you can enjoy excellent French food and drinks in a calm club like atmosphere. Good sounds, very friendly staff and relaxed mood at the open fire place

We dined on Christmas Eve night to celebrate my 40th birthday. The host/seating staff were lovely, helpful and friendly. I could never figure out who our food server was and it took forever to track her down to order our starter - the assortment of French cheeses. They were delicious if not overpriced for the small amount we got. The... More
