Visited this lovely old colonial Moroccan cafe for our last evening in Marrakech with considerable excitement. The maitre d' greeted us warmly and that's where the service ended. Our waitress was extremely surly and didn't smile once while serving us. One of our family is vegetarian but when asked if there were any vegetarian options, she shrugged and pointed at... More

We walked in quite late without a booking, thankfully it was quiet and they welcomed us. Between 10 of us we probably had everything on the menu and it was all superb. The cocktails and wine were great and the service was discreet and excellent. It was so good that we thought it would be wildly expensive but we were... More

Our riad made us a reservation for lunchtime. We took a table inside as the table which had been reserved for us was on the terrace (very popular) but in direct sunlight. We didn't mind being inside because the interior is lovely. We were here last year and the menu has changed so our anticipations were revised! Both pasta dishes... More

Deep leather chairs, potted plants and fans upstairs, crisp white tablecloths and fluted glasses downstairs - the Grand Cafe de la Poste is the spitting image of a grand old french colonial club. Its all fake, in fact, a clever simulacrum put together by brilliant interior designers in the old post office building. But the food is excellent - though... More

The cesar salad was the worst salad i've ever had, asked for more sauce and the brought balsamic sauce not even cesar sauce!! it was more water than sauce and the waiters were rude when we told them the food was horrible. my friend had a carpacio mostly oil not beef! They have a great location to attract tourists and... More

The restaurant is located in the modern part of Marrakech in the Jeliz quarter on Av. Mohammed V. Its an institution since the early 20th century and has kept its colonial style and atmosphere with dark wood and mighty fauteuils. Even though we had our reservation for outside in front of the restaurant. The very friendly wellcome and the professional... More

A beautiful classic cafe with exquisite food. There is an air of the 1920s that allows you to experience a little bit of the old world. The food was a wonderful. We ordered the duck and the beef tartare. They were delicious. The beef tartare was not only flavorful but the quality of the meat can quickly be detected by... More

Oldest cafe in Marrakesh, slightly pricey but that's expected in the commercial area of the city. Great service, lovely coffee.

Excellent service and very nice food! The warm and comfy atmosphere full of decorations is distracting a bit from the very decent food they serve. But is you like the colonialist nostagia style then you'll really enjoy this place.
