We went there mostly to see the square from the terrace and because the food was pretty cheap. We ordered a portion of french fries (10dh), that was good, a plate of eggs with rice, fries and olives (20dh), that was very nice and tasty, and a vegetable and chickpea couscous (40dh), that was also really good. To drink, we... More

You get a great view of the square from the second floor balcony. The food is great value for money too. Much better quality than other restaurants in the area which we tried on other days.

This restaurant is located near Jemma Square. You can eat on the porch area, inside or up on the rooftop. It has been a little challenging finding vegetarian friendly restaurants in Morocco but this is definitely one. I was able to order a tajine of just vegetables, which is was happy about because tajine is a local speciality, usually made... More

As said in other reviews, the food is typical, average and really nothing special but also nothing wrong with it. The service is good and it is a great place to retreat from the madness of the square while still enjoying the people show

With so many choices in rooftop dining in the Medina Square, this was a great find. Going at sunset is magical with the brilliant colors, views of the two main mosques and the square full people doing shopping, entertaining and eating was fascinating. The outdoor deck has a row of single seats facing the sunset as well as tables. There... More

This place was recommended through the riad and it really didn't disappoint. The food here is great. You get all the local food like tagine, couscous, pastilla etc. Good price with a fantastic view of the square!

We read about this place in a review of good restaurants and went on their advice. Didn't look at the date-2009. Big mistake. Food very average. Very! And similar prices to other better restaurants in town. I'd spend my money elsewhere.

It's a quite modest restaurant, but with a fantastic view from the balcony over Place Jemaa el Fna. Very good for dinners to relax from the "electricity" of the Place. Great prices for the quality of the food. Plain but efficient service. If you want to ear well and spend not much money, this is a good choice.

Looks over the hustle and bustle of the medina square - great to sit on the roof terrace and watch the world go by. The staff do not speak english and we had to right our order down on a piece of paper. The food was ok, we had been to better places around the square.

We enjoyed a lovely early evening meal at Chez Chegrouni. We sat at the front of the restaurant so enjoyed great views. when we visited we wrote out our own order on a piece of paper and ended up writing the prices on at the end - effectively creating our own bill! Why not? The food was tasty - we... More
