Make no mistake, this is a tourist spot. It's modern decoration is aimed primarily to tourists, but it's still great place to eat. Portions are huge, prices are low and even the restaurant was full, we didn't have to wait for our food too long....We had cous cous with three types of meat, avocado salad and pastilla and I must say the food is fantastic. Cous Cous with meats was out of this world, but my favourit was pastilla. It was soft, tender and rich in flavour.More

Great location close to the main square, superb quality/to price food offering different tagines to the norm, portions are huge, service could not be faulted, so good we went twice during our stay!

We had a lovely dinner in this restaurant in March 2020; the food was amazing, service was friendly and quick, and the prices were very low considering the high quality of the food. Highly recommend!!

As foodie fans who cares to always eat at well known local fares, Cantine does Gazelle was still some of the best meals I’ve had while traveling around Morocco. It was also the best chicken tagins I’ve had and I still think about the eggplant...lasagna from them, eggplant parm is even better than a lot of the restaurants I’ve had from back home in New York City. The service is great and the ambiance is nice as well, this is not to be missed in Marrakech!More

Had such a lovely meal here, amazing trio of Moroccan salad for starter and Kefta tangine for main! Very friendly staff. Cash only (we asked if we could pay on card, and I think there was some language barrier between us and one of the...waiters, whose English wasn't as good as the other waiters, and our French is non existent.. but it initially seemed like we could pay with card.. but when it came to paying, we could not, so needed to go get cash out which was a bit annoying but just a misunderstanding so didn't take away from the amazing meal we'd had!) This place is definitely worth a visit! Make sure you book as it seemed constantly busy the whole time we were there and they had to turn people away!More

We went a couple of times (worth pre-booking though, it is busy), and the 3 course set meal options are excellent and very reasonably prices, and the restaurant offers non-Moroccan options if you are tagined out. Would visit again if back in Marrakech

I thought the food was fine, but nothing outstanding. Nice staff. Since it is on a proper street, rather than on a little alley in the medina like lots of other restaurants, felt less confined. On a sunny day nice to sit at one of...the tables outside and watch the world go by.More

Had dinner here twice. Food is fabulous. Creative and not just the usual moroccan dishes. Do no miss this place ! The 3 course meal for 95 dirham is a bargain - especially given the quality. The salad to start would be the goat cheese...moroccan salad. Fabulous. No shortage of cheese. The dressing made the dish. Have had the chicken tajine and the eggplant as main courses. Both nights had the apple crumble with ice cream for desert . The tajine was one of the best I have had in a month in Morocco. But still - a standard tajine. The eggplant was even better - a superb dish. Not vegetarian - it includes chopped meat. The 3 coursde meal is clearly large enough for 2 people to share. All of the dishes are very large and generous in size. The first time we were there we shared a meal - even though the menu says the 3 course meal is for one person only. The second time, they would not let us share, so we ordered one meal and a second entree. We shared the started and desert. It was too much food ! YOU NEED A RESERVATION FOR THIS PLACE !!!! Both times we were there we saw endless numbers of people being turned away . It is always full.More

Cosy little restaurant: rather basic, not very fancy or so, but very good tajine, friendly waiters and not expensive at all. Since we went at our first evening in Marrakech, we had some trouble funding it.

Yes, there are bars. Google the liveliest bars in Marrakesh. Great place to visit. Enjoy!

Nope - no alcohol, as in most cafees in Marroco. They make a "Mojito" though, but its.....virgin, to say the least :-)

It is a relatively small restaurant, however they may cater to large groups, I'd contact them direct if you can. Good luck!!
