Old world opulance and elegance, this can be found amongst the Medina. Its what I envisaged Morocco to be. Here the meals are prepared using fresh produce. Here you can find a reall good Cous Cous. Sevice from the staff and the surrounds makes you feel like a king!

We had read very positive reviews about this restaurant, and the atmosphere was as reviewed by many others, excellent. Not too difficult to find, and definitely pure Moroccan. All of that has to be balanced against a very negative experience that we had in our dining. We had read very positive reviews about this restaurant, and the atmosphere was as... More

Some places make you fall in love with a city and this is the one that sold Marrakesh to me, frankly after a hard 2016 spring that would not end with a string of personal and work difficult issues. Finding Le Tobsil two steps from the Hasna Riad where I was staying, not knowing what to expect in a no... More

Was recommended to this restaurant by a friend & wasn't disappointed. We arrived early & was greeted at the door by the owner who welcomed us warmly. The sound of Berber musicians who were singing & playing music was a nice accompaniment to the meal. The food itself is fantastic & there is plenty to go at with 7 courses... More

This was some of the best food I have eaten, but we did not go for the food. There was live music and dancing, a romantic and beautiful atmosphere with Morocco lamps and candles. It is a 6 course tasting menu, so best to go hungry. The whole experience lasts 2.5 to 3 hours so a really good way to... More

We thought the best part about Le Tobsil was the restaurant itself. Although the food was pleasant, it wasn't amazing. Sadly the wine menu was a little poor and the house wine included in the set menu price was not great. Little disappointed for the price.

Would 100% recommend this place! I should start by setting expectations (which admittedly they do not do well) - there is no choice, only a 640dH (~£40) set menu. This is not a 'traditional' Moroccan dining experience and locals do not eat here. The whole experience is excellent though, from being met at the end of the souk and being... More

After being met by an accredited guide and taken through the maze of alleyways, we were warmly met and seated in a beautiful riad at a petal-covered table. The set menu was to be a selection of salads, two tajine - one chicken, one lamb - and 2 deserts with wine. As others have said, the was a lot of... More

The restaurant occupies a high-walled courtyard and features two musicians who play discreetly. There is no menu - instead you are offered a succession of superbly cooked dishes (as of April 2016) : a first course of small vegetable dishes, then chicken in pancakes, lamb tagine, poached fruit and pastry. The house wine, water and tea/coffee are included in the... More

The adventure begins when you need to have robed attendant with a lantern quide you to the restaurant, which is hard to find without help. The setting is in a beautiful riad (interior courtyard) with rose petals on the tables and candlelight. The meal is huge, so go hungry. It is a set menu so you do not choose what... More
