This is the typical Moroccan experience you want to have. Call for reservation. Enjoy the Tajine, the bastilla, the 12 salads, the desert, etc. My wife and I ate for 90-minutes non-stop and costed us 300DH. High quality tasty food. The manager also offered us...a “welcome gift” 😋More

It is quite a feat to reach this restaurant as it is hidden in a Fez alleyway, but if you find it you will be glad you did! It is located in a former mansion and you dine in a fabulous courtyard. There were the...typical huge number of courses, and each one was delicious. Great service as well.More

We were visiting from the United States and wanted to experience true Moroccan food. This restaurant is a hidden gem in Moroccan that only the locals know about. From the second we walked in the door Salahdine treated us like family. Pulling out all the...stops and never rushing us. We ate, we laughed, and it truly made our day. This is a much visit restaurant and definitely worth every penny. Before we left Salahdine taught us how to wear traditional headdresses and gifted us scarves and small tajines.More

We visited here for dinnet as part of an optional excursion with a Contiki tour I was on visiting Spain, Morocco and Portugal. Being in the Medina in Fes, it is a bit of a trek to get to the restaurant, though thankfully we had...a guide to help is get to it. It does pay off as when you get to it you get a nice view of the Medina. Starters and the main course were great. Bottled water was also provided. Staff was friendly and the owner is a extremely friendly and hospitable guy. I would eat here again.More

I would give this resraurant 8/5 stars but the max is 5 haha. I have to say, for a restaurant deep in the heart of the Fes Medina, it has top notch dishes which looks and feels homecooked but tastes exquisite. Delicious side dishes and...the maine event was the beef targine which is basically melt-in-mouth tender and swimming in sauce which I expected to be sweet but it was just right. Visit with a guide, its pretty deep in and highly underrated. The owner named Salahouddin is very nice and is definitely a culinary expert and is more than willing to share. (taught us the recipe).More

This restaurant really is a gem. A nice old man met us at our Riad and led us through the city to Dar Tajine. There, the calm atmosphere and the view over the entire Medina really took us by surprise. The service and the food...were exceptional. From the Moroccan salad to the chicken pastilla to the couscous to the chicken and almond tajine, everything was so so good and refined. The plates are very very generous (especially the couscous) so you might want to share. I highly recommend the place. We liked it so much that we visited twice!More

No credit cards when I was there. Reservations a good idea, depending on when you wish to eat. For directions, unless you know the medina well, I would go to the Blue Gate and call the restaurant. They will send someone... More
