A little tricky to find but was worth the search. (The last sign is actually about 60m not 20m) beautiful hidden treasure. The terrace was lovely and cool even in July. We had the pasta pesto and sun pasta both were lovely. Loads of options for vegetarians.

After wandering the streets of Fes, we ended the day at Le 44 cafe restaurant. Easy to find, the restaurant had a great pasta menu and decent wine list considering that we were in Morocco. I highly recommend dining on the terrace just as the sun is setting! If you want a break from Moroccan cuisine, at good prices this... More

We were searching for a nice place to have a (alcoholic) drink, when we came by chance into this fantastic minimalistic riad. The roof terrace is very cosy and the owner is really nice. After some wines we also had dinner, Italian spaghetti - bolognese and pesto. They were both a perfect escape from the tagines and couscous of this... More

It is a good place to eat if you feel you miss italian cuisine. It is not expensive. We ordered tuna salad and pasta with bolognese sauce. Salad was good and pasta was just okay, not the best. And they also have beer which was the highlight of the dinner.

I was craving italian! And I found it and it was amazing. So good that I came back the next day for seconds. Atmosphere = 5 stars. It's a three store beautiful little building. It looks like a moroccon home that has been renovated into a restaurant. There are comfortable chairs and booths to sit and read at. Tasteful art... More

Le 44 was a great retreat away from the busy Talaa Kebira. The food was excellent, particularly nice to have a change from tagine, and it was great to try out a couple of Moroccan beers. The roof terrace was great and the staff incredibly welcoming. Would definitely recommend!

It's not far from Talaa Kebira, close to blue gate to medina. Well marked, easy to find if you starve for something different to eat in medina which is not so obvious. This café / resto is simple, with some seating inside the patio as well as at the terrace, they serve pasta, quiche, salads and wine / beer. That's... More

This is an interesting place, a little hard to find but worth hunting down. If you're just getting a little tired of tagine and couscous you can come here for a nice plate of pasta and a glass of wine or other little things. Very comfortable and modern. Nice roof terrace. Quiet and a world away from all the bustle... More

This is a lovely spot. May be hard to find but do work hard to find it because it's worth it! They have a small lovely carte, with good pasta options which is perfect if you need a break from the tajines... The place is very well decorated, spotless, the food is very good and the owner is a lovely... More
