Nice outdoor cafe down the street from a womens' cooperative shop with lovely jewelry and well-priced rugs. There is an old water wheel adjacent to the restaurant which is interesting to see.

This coffee is now a tourist trap. After talking to staff in our riad, they told us this place was famous but the management changed apparently and now it's not good anymore. We have been there the 21 of December 2015, following the lonely planet advice. Expensive prices, cold tagine with dry chicken, tea by the glass, re-heated bread from... More

This cafe is set by a (now not working) water wheel close to the Jardin Jnan Sbil. The furniture is a bit garish, but it is in a pretty courtyard next to a river. There are various set menus, starting with Moroccan salads (two of which were SPLENDID, the rest were good, but not a patch on the first two)... More

Seriously. While the customer service here is usually notable in its absence, today took the cake. I went with my wife, neither of us Moroccan. As we sipped our shakes, she was feeling down, so I put my arm around her shoulders to comfort her. I was promptly beckoned over by the waiter, and the manager/owner told me in English... More

This is a classic: a nice place let down by a terrible service. What a deception! We decided to have a break and eat in this restaurant while touring around the gardens in Fes El Jadid, on our way to the Mellah. We picked two menus: one was the harissa, beef kebabs and orange salad and mint tea. all together... More

it's a nice place but the food is so expensive. It cost around 100 DH (10 Euro) per person. It is a good place to have a cup of coffee but definitely not a reasonable place to eat. The food there sucks and served in very small portion. I can tell the food is precooked, heated up by microwave oven.... More

The setting of this restaurant is great. Located in the edge of the Jnane Sabil garden right by the Oued Fes and a small Noria, it has a large patio with umbrellas against the sun. I chose to sit down right by the Oued which offered a refreshing breeze. The chicken tajine with lemons was great and so was the... More

Plain Morrocan style food, in set menus of a strict order: 1. salad 2. harira soup 3.tajine with vegetables 4. orange salad 5. mint tea. The variety being the way the meat is served: too hard grilled meat, or softer minced meat kefta, leg of lamb etc.

Just returned from a short stay in Fez, dined at the LA Noria in the beautiful garden jnan sbil for our 11th anniversary, could not have found anywhere more perfect, lovely atmosphere, excellent food, the staff and Manager could not do enough to please us and made our night perfect. It is must if you are dinning in Fez.

Thank Mark E
