The food is always excellent when Thami himself does the cooking, less so when someone else is there. Thami is a great cook, is happy if you watch him preparing the food as the kitchen is open. He is friendly and kind, often asking my wife and I to pop in and have a free tea when we are passing... More

This is right now my favorite place in to eat :-). The food is good, they have their own kitchen. They are very fast to take orders and bring the food. We always get a free small tapa before our food arrives. And the food is of course good, see the pictures. They have vegetable options but I am not... More

Very disappointed with this place. I ordered a tagine but the chicken and beans were cold. I told Thami about it. He heated it up again. The place also lacks hygiene with dirt and rubbish on the ground and when the food was finally served hot it was very very average.

Thamis loves showing people his sign about trip advisor but it's false advertising as he is not number one in Fes. We eat here twice. Combined with other food that day something made me sick for 5 days and for that reason I wouldn't return to fes or to Thamis. There are cats running everywhere, the food and hygiene system... More

Thami's is one of the places where people try to pull you in near the mouth of the Medina. We normally would not have eaten here, but it was recommended by a local so we gave it a try. First, Thami himself was so friendly. That aside, the food was very good, especially for the price. We tried the eggplant... More

Within the medina and around the corner from famed Bab Boujloud, this restaurant proudly displays reviewer's claims that this is the best restaurant in the medina. Fact or fiction, one thing is certain, Thami is a pure performer. With a whisk and a flourish we were seated facing the crowd, handed a standard menu and had a candle lit, all... More

Yes, Thami's has been around a long time but it's definitely worth a stop. We were initially sceptical but was very hungry so we gave them a chance ... and ended up being very glad we did! The staff is incredibly friendly and you'll be on a first name basis with Salah and Abdul before you leave. The kafta tajine... More

Absolutely loved this little setup in the corner of Taala-Sghira in the medina. The food was delicious and the lady cooking it was so sweet. She blushed when I sent compliments to the chef with her son, the waiter. Highly suggest the vegetable sandwich and chicken brochette.

We ate an acceptable but unexceptional couscous here one Friday. I would suggest trying elsewhere because:1) not very clean 2) service difficult 3) toilets very dirty and locked 4) problems with the bill -- overcharged by 80DH until we asked for a detailed accounting,
