Authentic, friendly restaurant

The food was absolutely standard and very good but not outstanding -- but this restaurant is sent over the top by its vibrant, charming, friendly owner! And its view of a busy corner of the medina. My girlfriend and I were traveling in Morocco for more than a week and never had any stomach problems. After reading Lonely Planet guide we decided to try Thamis place. Food was OK there, nothing really special for a such price. The place itself did not looked hygienic, but most of the local places look similar. When we came back... More

So, we found Thami's restaurant by mistake. Sat and has a great lunch. Simple yet rewarding and the price was very reasonable. Thami was a great host and we enjoyed the atmosphere of the medina while people watching.

The best place to eat in Fes! Great atmosphere, great prices, great food, and a great location. We hope to return next time we visit Morocco.

Along a very busy street with lots of other restaurants. We chose Thami's based on a few quite good reviews. Although most restaurants along this street charge 25Dh for a tajine. But aside from being cheap, Thamis was very average food, service, and hygeine. The salad we ordered was pre-made, consisting of soggy old lettuce/cucumber/tomatoes and was returned. The meatball... Had dinner here last night. I had the chicken couscous, which was large and delicious. Full of flavour and great value. This and two lemon Fantas came to 60 dirham.

Thamis is right in the hurt of the medina, a great place to watch the world go by. Wonderful service and great food. We had a really lovely experience and would recommend this as a delicious affordable place for a meal.

walking through the medina you will be accosted by many who promise you your friends are waiting at their restaurant for you. but when you come to thami's by the end of the meal, they will be your friends. incredibly reasonably priced for some of the most authentic and delicious food you'll eat in fes. also a great place to... Literally a highlight of Fes. We stumbled across Thami and his several adjacent restaurants on our first night in Fes. Like the reviews say, he is an awesome guy, full of character, and based on that we decided to have dinner there. The free starter was heartily appreciated (we are students after all) and the tagines were delicious! We had... More

Chicken sandwiches with roasted vegetables served with a side of fries and salad for 20 D! Service was friendly and not overbearing. Hand soap in the washroom would be an improvement.
