Good Morocan restaurant in Casablanca

This is a typical Moroccan restaurant. There is no real surprise there. The food is very good (but I've founded that the tajines were a little bit too salted). The service is excellent as you would expect from this kind of place.

Cozy place and very friendly staff, food is really good, yet prices are a bit high. DHS1000 for a family of 2 adults and 3 kids

Traditional Moroccan cuisine. Great service. The pace is a bit small and its difficult to eat at the small tables, but that's minor compared with the quality of food you get to sample.

The food was ok but extremely expensive for what we had and not worth it. They give us 2 acceptable soaps £5.80 , for the main course we had a Chicken cooked with onions and a Lamb with almonds. Nothing else, which we both expected some potatoes or couscous. It was Just a chicken on its own and the same... More

Traditional Moroccan food for our first evening in Casanlanca. The food and every detail about the restaurant felt authentic. Tajine with prunes, the couscous, and the mint tea were all delicious!! Beer and wine available. Prices reasonable, but definitely not cheap. Excellent, attentive service.

It is a MUST when I am in Casablanca to dine at the "AL MOUNIA" in the Patio at the front (entrance) in Summer or inside of one of the 2 low sitting dining rooms on the left and right hand side of the entrance.... The low sitting, around these large copper trays tables, with confortable cushioned banquettes and curved mini... More

We ate here on our first night in Casablanca, very tired after our flight. It was a great introduction to Morocco! The food was superb, the lamb tagine particularly good. A bottle of Morrocan wine went down very well. The service was good, the waiter quite a comedian. The restaurant doesn't open until 7.30pm. We went early and were the... More

Recommended by our hotel Le Doge because it was great Moroccan food and wine was also served for us, so after some hesitation by the Petit taxi driver, who didn’t seem to know where it was, we got here at the agreed price, and were immediately made to feel welcome and happy. It’s a traditional townhouse with garden terrace and... More

Our culinary wishes for Casablanca were simple: we wanted to eat a good couscous and a good tagine. For the couscous we went to Al- Mounia, a very pretty restaurant very near our hotel.. Al-Mounia is well-rated in all the various guides/sites, and its reputation is well-deserved. We had a delicious lamb couscous, and a lovely evening. (And even after... More

We had a delightful evening at Al Mounia's, one of best restaurants we ate in while in Morocco--and we dined in a lot of good ones. The atmosphere is lovely--you walk through a garden to a set of rooms with lovely low benches, cushions and rugs. We were a group of five and ordered the appetizers of cooked vegetables and... More
