This was the best little find and a place I visit every trip I make to Casablanca. Aziz and the staff treat us like family. From my very first visit, I have always let him choose the dishes for me. It's like going home and...eating at your mother's table! If you want good, real Moroccan food go to Le Cuisto!More

This was just around the corner from our hotel but it would be worth going a much greater distance to try this lovely traditional Moroccan restaurant. The owner Aziz is very friendly and eager to explain all the dishes and the staff are all very...helpful. The food itself is wonderful. I had the mixed Moroccan salads and the flavours were so fresh and varied. Then I had the lamb tryd, a traditional dish of meat on a bed of thin pasta - the lamb was beautifully tender. And lovely home-made flatbread to go with it. The upstairs room is the nicest part with a carved ceiling, tiled walls and many photographs taken by the owner in his former career as a professional photographer. No alcohol is served - the juices are fabulous. Lemon and ginger in particular. Really, make an effort to try this place if you are in Casablanca.More

Had a great meal at Le Cuisto for our first night in Morocco. We tried the pastilla and the lamb and fish tagine. Both dishes were fantastic, full of favour and aromas. The place is fairly easy to find, just look for the coloured windows....Aziz and his team were open and friendly and made for a great first dinner here, would definitely come back.More

Quaint and delicious! Had the beef tajine and it was tender and hearty. Great ginger juice too. The owner welcomes you so graciously.

Delicious food in a lovely setting with attentive, kind staff. I had the Moroccan salad and chicken pastilla. Very filling, beautifully presented and so tasty. Only in Casablanca briefly, but am hoping to make a second visit.More

I have been traveling in Morocco for 26 days and have decided to catch up with all my hotel and restaurant reviews. With the benefit of so many places to compare, I believe my reviews reflect an accurate description of these places in the market....I really wanted to love this place as I had some fantastic meals in Casablanca - but the restaurant just does not do it. Food was very good - but it is not close to being the best Moroccan food I have had - and VERY EXPENSIVE. As an example - to compare apples to apples - I never spent more than 20-25 dirham for mint tea at a quality restaurant. Here it was 38 dirham. You can argue about the costs of a tajine, but hard to compare one restaurant quality to another. But mint tea is kind of a leveling menu item to give you an example of costs. This restaurant also charges a 10% service fee - the only place I visited in Casablanca that does outside of a hotel. Food was very good - just very overpriced. The decor is good, but not what I would call a luxury restaurant.More

This was our first restaurant in Casablanca. We ordered two dishes, a couscous with lamb (Dirham 214 where in other restaurants cost maximum Dirhams 95) which came with a lot of couscous and vegetables and just a little piece of lamb. For such a high...price, we expected something according. The second dish was a Lamb Tangia (Dirham 125) with one little bone (ossobuco) sorrounded by 4 little and thin pieces of lamb with nothing else than just sauce. The prices included 10% charge that we didn't pay in any other restaurant in Casablanca. After visiting a lot of delicious restaurant in Casablanca we would not recommend this restaurant at all.More
