Bring back the arugula/pear salad! But the Monterey chicken sandwich is good, too.... The dishes are pretty. Rooftop is perfect.

This is a bit more upscale price wise but excellent and delicious. New sports bar and grill and very popular if you want to watch Cyclone sports or anything sports related!

Pretty much my headline summed it up. Wallaby's is "meh". The food is okay. You won't talk about it later except to comment on how salty everything is. The big cookie is pretty good, as are the cheese fries. You'll pay too much for mediocre food.

Yummy yummy yummy cookie desserts. Really cute set up. The service was ok. I enjoy really friendly outgoing people, but I think our waitress had a long day. Full bar. Lots of parking. Weekend hours.

Arrived in town to visit my daughter and met her at the rooftop bar. Very nice! The goat cheese and beet salad is awesome! Rooftop setting made it all better. I'll be back.

Been here couple of times. Plan to wait on Friday and Saturday evenings for a table. Food is always good and service is usually pretty quick and friendly. Bartenders are hit and miss, especially if it's busy. A nice place to go and eat.

We frequented the old location years ago and wanted to check out the we space. The atmosphere says "high end" while the food was "average". Like other reviews, big bowl/small portions and the prices were much higher than I anticipated. We might be back, but I probably won't go too far out of my way. Bottom line, I liked the... More

This is our favorite spot to eat at when we come to Ames. Awesome staff and atmosphere! It helps if you are an Iowa State fan, but it's not overbearing by any means. The menu has a nice selection of food and drinks and the portions are really good for what you pay for. There are several choices for seating,... More

we had a group of 12 to meet here for drinks and food. Called for reservation and told they don't do that and then hung up on the gal who called. Showed up and made the request and told 1 hour. We can believe that. It was 1 1/2 hours. Oh well. Took our drink orders and took forever to... More

We stumbled on this place and were pleasantly surprised! Very nice atmosphere and better than typical bar & grill food! Interesting salads, yet very well prepared burgers too! Overall a nice variety!
