I love a good Irish ☘️ Pub! This one did not disappoint. The service was excellent. My Shepards Pie was perfect as was my potato soup. The bar area was warm and friendly. Give it a try!

While staying at a very nice RV resort about 30 minutes away, friends from our pre-retirement days suggested we meet for dinner, assuring us it was worth the drive. It was. Around 5 midweek, it was slow. By the time we left - not! Pretty...overwhelmed by a lengthy draft offering, I told our waitress that my favorite beer was Coors so as to elicit guidance. Both she suggested were spot on. My Rueben was unsurpassed. My wife’s ribeye sandwich, the same. A great reunion with old friends was the only thing that exceeded this outing!More

Had lunch there while visiting family. Nice decor. Ambiance was great until a very loud and seemingly spoiled toddler accompanied her family and was seated at the next table. She became quite vocal anytime someone wasn't paying attention to her. Since that was a semi-enclosed...area it was rather unpleasant. Not really the restaurant's fault, though. We didn't ask to move because we already had our food. The food itself was good. I had bangers and mash which was good, although I think I prefer a spicier sausage. Again, that probably has more to do with the genre than with the restaurant itself.. Everyone else's meals were said to be excellent. They ordered either a boxty or fish and chips. Soup of the day was tasty. Service was prompt. Draft beer was good (I don't remember which I had) - maybe with a couple more I wouldn't have noticed the kid! We will be back next time we're in town.More

I was visiting alone as I was on business travel. The bar has a cosy atmosphere and even on a Monday there were quite a crowd. The bar has a wide selection of beers and the staff were great.

This was a great find! My son and I stopped in for late lunch on a Thursday. He had a burger which was delicious and i ordered the Guinness Boxty - it was superb! The Parmesan garlic dressing on the salad was fantastic too. An...Ale topped off the experience. Service was excellent! Highly recommend!More

We arrived an hour before closing on a Thursday evening and were surprised by the nice "Irish" décor...and gentle sessions music playing in the dining area. The menu provided a nice choice of Irish themed dishes which were delivered hot by our busy server. Just...before we came in (two of us), a large group of 15 or so had arrived which took our server's attention, so service was a little slow, but well worth the wait.More

Very friendly place and relaxing atmosphere. Made reservations and was early; however seated right away. From walk in time til food served was a total of 20 min. Food was AMAZING!!!

Good service and an easy location. I had the fish and chips and it was among the best fish I’ve had! Serving size was generous. I would highly recommend when visiting the area !

We enjoyed the atmosphere here. The chicken planks are delicious and staff are very friendly. This is also a family friendly restaurant and my teenager ordered the hamburger which he said was very good. It seems to fill up quickly, lots of after work crowd...Highly recommendMore

Always a positive experience when visiting Dublin Bay and such a great place to bring family and friends. Like other reviews, the Nutty Walleye continues to be my go-to with that delicious hazelnut cream sauce. Portions are quite large so I love enjoying this as...leftovers the next day. I'm excited to go again this spring since there is a new patio space!More

Fantastic atmosphere and declicious food! I enjoyed the nutty walleye--wow the hazelnut cream sauce on it is amazing. The rice pilaf was not a throwaway side, but savory and yummy. And who doesn't love brussel sprouts covered in bacon and red onion?! Two thumbs up.

Stopped in here for lunch on our way through Ames. After looking on Tripadvisor for restaurants nearby we settled on Dublin Bay. I can't say enough, our server was outstanding and I wish I had gotten her name. Anyway, we ordered onion rings, they are...hand battered and have a unique flavor I guess due to the beers they use in the batter. My wife had the potato soup and half reuben sandwich. She said it was all great and more than she could eat. I had the Shepherd's Pie it was fantastic as well and way more than I could eat. Dublin Bay is a great place for lunch or dinner. Stop in you won't be disappointedMore

Great service and great atmosphere. We had a date night and deci to try them out. We ended up grabbing a drink and sitting in the bar for our dinner. Encrusted walleye with a side salad was perfect. Drinks were nice and strong.

Stopped here on a Saturday afternoon. We were seated in the bar area where there were only 3-4 other occupied tables. The one end of the bar was PILED high with dirty dishes and the waitress acted like she was swamped. After we were seated...she proceeded to loudly tell someone else that she didn't have time to get to our table!! That should have been our indication to leave. Someone finally took our order but I had to go to the bar myself to get our beer. Soup and cold with a big dollop of sour cream. Not sure how they expected it to melt when the soup cold. The sandwich had so much dressing on it the bread was soggy. I didn't even eat mine. All in all terrible experience.More
