I was very disappointed in the service I received this evening. The bartender was too worried about his friends at the bar instead of the service of other customers.

A good sports bar to meet up with people. I've been here a few times and have gotten good service and the quality of the food is what you would expect (i.e. nothing special but not bad). The beer selection is pretty good and priced typically. Overall it's a good choice for a sports bar if you're in the area.

The most horrible experience ever!!! I would give zero stars if it would be possible. The bartender Nick if this is his real name on March 3rd, 2017 (between 9:00 pm to midnight), was humiliating customers and made a show making me feel miserable, as a second-rate citizen, discriminated against, and harassed in front of the whole pub for my... The food was decent, but the service was very slow. Typical sports restaurant with lots of TVs and tables crowded in together.

This place is ok, it is located close to the Village Apartment of ISU. So guess what if you are familiar with campus it is the only bar close to those apartments. You will have a loud crowd of college students drinking, so you must expect that. No big deal to us we brought our ISU student here for dinner... More

I eat here often. Lunches with coworkers or business associates. Dinners with family or friends. The sandwiches and appetizers are always good. Maybe the best fries in Ames. I've tried many of the sandwiches, many of the appetizers. Of course, I like some more than others, but that's preference. The food always arrives hot and very well prepared. Service is... More

Our waitperson was friendly. He was good and watched out for our group of seven needs during our entire visit. It was Sunday so they featured wings for 59 cents each...a reasonable price. The wings were fairly tasty, and there was a nice selection of different flavors available. The burgers were good. Beers were cold. Nice looking bar. The men's... More

My wife and I visited West Towne Pub recently, and it was pretty clear that the majority of their menu is geared towards college students looking for a quick meal while drinking. This place has turned into more of a bar atmosphere and they have let the quality of food remain towards the lower end of the spectrum. If you're... More

We were in town for a birthday party. They did a good job of separating our group. Server did a great job of keeping up with appetizers and drinks. Been here before...good place to grab a burger during the day and watch a game and drink at night.

The wait staff were not very friendly and service was ok. The food was below my expectations. Buns tasted like they were a few days old and very hard.
