Every one in our party had something different and we shared it was all very good. Old world type meals and the flavor was out of this world.

We go here every year for New Year's Eve. I have the same thing always - Jagerschnitzel with spaetzle. Oldest and youngest have burgers, middle child doesn't care what she eats as long as there is spaetzle. This year she had cheese spaetzle and loved it. I added a new menu item to my order the Potato Dumplings in Onion... More

The Jägerschnitzel was quite good. The mushroom gravy really made this dish stand out. My wife had the Chicken schnitzel, and it was also impressive. She was disappointed that the chicken did not have the gravy. Overall, we liked this restaurant very much.

We have wanted to stop here for quite some time, and today we finally did. Family style dining is a neat idea and reminds me of family dinners from my childhood. The roast beef was amazing and the potatoes were good. You must order dessert. The pie is outstanding. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It appears to have... More

Atmosphere is a little kitschy but plays well into the Amana theme. Service is generally good, with a large menu selection of average food. Save room for pie!

Had the flight of the Millstream beers. They were tasty. Service was cordial and prompt Had my family throughout the US visit me and everyone enjoyed their meals. Had the Brat Sandwich. Wanted to try something local and it was delicious. Would recommend going back again.

Always have to have a Reuben with Ox Yolk chips! Also salad with buttermilk ranch. Have to order streusel topped rhubarb cream pies to go!

I guess my expectations of a place making real homemade gravy is asking too much. Pies were homemade and good. Pork loin was tender and was served with really good applesauce with cranberries. My pork schnitzel was good and homemade however the gravy was not anything but powdered mixed up. Fresh baked rolls with real butter and strawberry jam was... More

The Ox Yoke Inn has been here since forever. I remember stopping when we traveled through when I was a kid....that's way back in the 60s. They maintain their reputation with family style meals and great pies. Loved stopping for a late lunch.

I grew up near the Amana Colonies and went dozens of times to eat their wonderful food. I was traveling in the Amana area with a friend and had been telling him about this wonderful food and was excited to share the experience with him. Boy were we disappointed!!! We both ordered ham plate lunch expecting a ham steak. The... More
