When this was owned by Bosselman's and called Grandma Max's it was a great place to eat.No longer..keep on driving past unless you need fuel.

When we walked in there. I did not see a lot of people in the restaurant. We reviewed the menu and found for the price of chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and corn. We found we could go somewhere else more reasonable.
Stopped at Max's for breakfast and it did not disaapoint. This place is open, friendly and the food is amazing. I bbarely finished my breakfast as the portions were huge. The decor is fun to look at....just what you would espect in a highway roadside...More
Stopped for a quick note! Was not disappointed! Placed order, got drinks, food shortly thereafter! Very happy. Food was prepared perfectly and was fresh. Waitress was friendly and attentive. Places like this are impossible to find nowadays! Thank you, bosselmans!
