Great waitress, good atmosphere with plenty of Tv's if you need to catch a Sunday night football game. But food is king ribs with Mac and cheese side, corn breed and beans. Price is on point as well for what you get.

I've been here a number of times before and I'm never disappointed. The beef brisket is good, pork and chicken are great, but jalapeño cream corn keeps me coming back

This place always delivers great food and service. My only complaint is everyone else knows that so you may have to stand in line. Wings are great. I have explored the menu and haven't had a bad choice yet.

National hidden gem.... Moment you walk in you're greeted with friendly smiles, unique sports bar/dinning atmosphere, and the best Wings in the country... I've taken many coworkers from Texas here, and everyone says hands down best wings. That says something about their BBQ.. Weather you're in Ankeny, Altoona, Drake area, Johnston, West Des Moines, or Grimes you cannot go wrong..

This is a good place if you like BBQ. There are other options as well which I would say are average! The tenderloin is huge! There is a decent amount of space and large groups can be accommodated.

Excellent BBQ - Many excellent choices for breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner. Very busy, however we were seated immediately, excellent service, many different NCAA College games on different TV's.

We've tried 2 different Jethro's now and we hated both of them. I guess smoked meat is not for us. I hated the prime rib, the AuJus sauce was terrible, the coleslaw wasn't even good. The mac and cheese was runny and the smoked sausage was dry. Maybe if you like smoked meats you might like this place but we... More

We just had sandwiches but they were very good and very tender. The house sauce is excellent. Service was slow but they were very busy.

I had the brisket dinner and the brisket was not hot... My sister had the same experience. Also, my sister ordered an Angry Orchard and they were out.... then later she ordered the fried apple pie and the waitress came back to say they were out. So, kinda disappointing. The price was not exorbitant, so that was something.
