Good sushi restaurant

Nikko Japanese has very fresh sushi with a lot of variety. Typically very crowded for dinner on the weekends, but it worth the wait.

I've been about a dozen times. The sushi is delicious, the staff are friendly. I love bringing new people here. The only downside is they are not open on Sundays, but everyone deserves a day off. It's hidden in a little strip mall, but it's a hidden gem.

My husband found this gem a few years back and we've been regulars since. We go at least 3 times a month and we even got our own sets of chop sticks courtesy of John (Nikko's owner). Fantastic selection, fresh, delicious, artistic... YUM!!! The service is beyond compare. They remember you by name and accommodate any requests. We just love... More

Just happened to stumble across this spot as I fly in late to Chicago and needed to grab a bit. The sushi here is very fresh and the biggest sushi rolls I have ever had. The menu was very large. I was more than pleased with my meal. For those who don't eat sushi this is still a good option... More

Was way more casual than expected, it was low key, which was nice. Very good food at very reasonable prices. We couldn't decide, so we ordered a large fried rice, 3 different sushi & a dinner plate. We all shared family style.

Honestly can't get enough of Nikko. My friend and I accidentally came across it a couple of years back and we've been going there since...probably go at least 1-2 times a month. They have great sushi, delicious Korean dishes, and very friendly staff. Only negative thing is that it's very hard to decide what I want cause I wish I... More

Wife and I were in town for our sons graduation from Robert Morris University and we're advised by our Hotel Clerk to try Nikko if we wanted good Sushi. There were 10 of us in all. The service was great, the staff really worked hard! The Sushi had great taste and the beer and Saki were the topping. I would... More

Some creative options for sushi rolls, especially loved the white dragon and red dragon rolls. Nigirizushi was also very good, and generally of high quality. The fatty toro came with gold flakes on top for a nice presentation, but the texture seemed slightly 'off.' (see photo) The environment is casual. Would definitely go again.

The sushi menu had various options and the chef provided some samples including dessert. The atmosphere was nice even if dining alone.

Ate at three Korean restaurants three nights in a row in Arlington Heights area near Chicago ORD. Nikko Sushi was by far the best. For one, it is a Korean menu combined with a great sushi menu. Portions are smaller, and prices higher, but quality is outstanding and service is excellent. Very delicious food. I will return for sure!
