We loved the food, service and atmosphere. I had the frutti de mari and it was fabulous. Others in our party loved their food, as well. I totally recommend this restaurant.

We decided to eat dinner and then watch the World Series Cubs game afterwards. The variety of food is amazing - so many plates to choose from. We chose the grilled calamari, and it was delicious. We also enjoyed the grilled vegetables, along with a chicken dish and a beef dish. Then for dessert we ordered a turtle cheesecake that... More

If you love Spanish food served tapas-style then this is worth trying. The service is great the food is wonderful. Just be careful because all of those little plates add up quickly. Nice ambiance too and love the sangria!

1/2 price wine on Mon Nights. Plenty of salad, cold and hot tapas options. They have nightly tapas specials and a few entrees too. Not so loud on a less crowded night (like Mondays). This place will pack'em in on a Fri or Sat night. Standing room only, make reservations if that take them. Even then, you may have to... More

I bought a groupon for this restaurant. I live about an hour away from this restaurant so I did not know about this restaurant until I saw it on Groupon. I went through the online reviews and decided to give it a try. My husband and I are very happy about our dinner at this restaurant. When we walked in,... More

Walking around the town we saw the place and decided to stop for dinner. Eggplants and fried calamares were good, the goatcheese bruschetta fine. I did expect a something better for the pulpo a la gallega. It was a bit too dried and not that soft as it should be (it was quite tasty, though). The beer estrella gallega was... More

Went here with the family to celebrate a birthday. Paella takes about 45 minutes so be prepared to wait. Presentation was good, good selection of seafood - large mussels, clams, shrimp, fish, squid. All tasted very fresh. However, it lacked any flavor. Also our waiter seem like he was just ready to go home - towards the end, he disappeared... More

Great neighborhood Tapas restaurant. My favorite dishes are the chicken/chorizo/rice dish, the garlic shrimp and the stuffed mushrooms. We usually order 3 dishes for the 2 of us. My only complaint is they bring all the food at once instead of staging it as a multiple course meal.

Great variety of delicious food to share. It's a nice way to try foods. The cost of meals could very well surprise you. At $7.95, $8.95, $9.25, or whatever for each dish, your check can be surprisingly high. The restaurant has an attractive setting with wonderful service. The food is delicious and it's a great way to experiment with foods... More

La Tasca has been around for years and is – in my opinion, the best Tapas in the NW Burbs…it is also the only tapas place I know of in the NW burbs, so there you go. It is in a convenient spot off Vail and has street parking, valet and a parking garage around the corner. I tend not... More
