We were part of a tour at the Pineapple plantation next door and it included a lunch at this restaurant (at $25 per person). We showed up on a Monday afternoon at 1:00 and it was relatively empty and we were seated in the back room - not sure why because there was room in the nicer front of the... More

Excellent lunch. I had the duck, brie, and grape quesadilla. It is a very busy place, but we had only a 20 minute wait. People arriving around 2 p.m. had a much shorter wait. We combined this with the tour of the Hali'imaile Distillery.

Very good food, catch of the day, appetizers, attentive staff, fair prices. All make for a very good dining experience. Only problem is the noise, open kitchen, flat, hard walls all make it difficult for a table of four to hold a conversation. Concentrating on the food is a good option, but you come away wishing you had been able... More

While on Maui, we visited this Beverly Gannon restaurant. It was recommended by a local. It is off the beaten track a bit but totally worth the beautiful drive. It is set in a pastoral setting which added to the ambiance. The food itself was excellent. I had the fish tacos but I was lucky enough to sample 3 other... More

We had a fantastic lunch here. It came highly recommended and it was great. The only problem I had is I used 2 gift cards to pay for the meal because 1 of the cards was almost gone. Unfortunately, the waitress kept the card that was full and gave me the empty card back. So, I lost and $85 gift... More

My wife and I have had lunch at the Hali'imaile General Store every time we visited Maui when driving "up country". On our recent visit we were very unhelpful male server, who gave the impression he he was doing us a favor by answering questions on the menu. Soon after getting our food, my wife found a long black or... More

Aloha KFLoyd and please accept our sincere apology for your disappointing dining experience. Unfortunately on the rare occasion when a hair makes it's way on to a guest's plate there is no disputing the obvious reaction. Our only recourse is to make a new dish as soon as possible and hope it did not affect the customers appetite. On this... More

Located about 50 minutes from Kaanapali and worth it. The average price for a main dish at dinner is about $40. This is Avery reasonable price for the food in Hawaii. My wife and I ordered Cajun dusted calamari for appetizer. It was served in abed of spinach, onions and tomatoes and then covered with a delicious tangy sauce. We... More

We did not include the option for lunch here in our tickets to Pineapple Tour because we wanted to choose our own food and not go with the group. We spent more time at Tour location visiting the glass blowing shop and then crossed the street for lunch. Food and service was very good. The menu items were unique and... More

We stopped here on the way to Kula. Arrived early for lunch so walked across the street to the glass studios and watched the craftsmen and women create spectacular glass art. Returned to the restaurant and were promptly seated in a spacious dining area flooded with natural light and decorated with original art works. The real art however is in... More

Ate lunch here after the pineapple tour. Service is top notch and the food is very good. The building is bright, airy and very peaceful definitely worth the short drive.

Thank Bruce C
