The food was very good. We were a group of 4. I recommend the diver scallops with pork belly and the andoullie sausage for appetizers. We then had the 1) pork chop 2) cowgirl ribeye (med rare) 3) bucther’s steak (medium) 4) flounder. All the...entree food was very very delicious! We had all four deserts on the menu. They were very, very good however I am very particular about my crème brûlée and this one was slightly more dense than I prefer. The cheesecake was beautiful and very good if you’re cheesecake person. Overall, the flavors and presentation of the meal were wonderful. I highly recommend this restaurant.More

No social distancing at all. Bar service was slow and the mixed drink they made was wrong. Food is expensive for what you get and the overall service quality is just not that good - staff seems to care more about themselves than the guests....Likely does a good business because of lack of competition for what they offer but in most any other city Frog Hollow would not stack up.More

Just stopped in to have a drink, sat at the bar. The two bartenders were polite & friendly...but after every drink they brought the check. I noticed other patrons were not "billed" after each drink/dish. I was respectful, engaging & polite....and in the end, an...excellent tipper. But I was made to feel "unwelcome" by the continued presenting of my bill. Work on that attitude Frog Hollow...there are other dining options in Augusta Georgia.More

This place is a gem. We stopped in Augusta during a road trip and this was our best meal. Wonderful service and eclectic menu. We had the mussels, homemade duck pastrami, shrimp and grits and snapper. My 8 year old son had the grouper with...the biggest plate of fries he had ever seen and is still talking about it! Please go try it. They are doing a great job with social distancing and still preparing amazing food.More

My wife and I went here for the first time now that things are re-opening. For those that are concerned about it, all staff members wore masks, they had disposable menus and kept seating at a minimum of 6 feet. Now for the part most...of you actually care about, the food was phenomenal. I had the cowgirl Angus steak with Mac and cheese. One of the best steaksbI have ever had, hands down. Cooked to perfection and the flavor was wonderful. The mac and cheese was good but not the classic casserole style we are used to in the south. My wife had gnocchi and said it was fabulous. We both had cocktails which were great as well. My wife had the cheesecake and I had the chocolate cake. We shared them both and I can say they were both wonderful as well. The server was great, he knew the menu inside and out and was prompt but not over bearing. We will definitely be back again.More

Chef Sean A. Wight has done it again. The Frog Hollow Tavern family style dinners for mother's day were a great success. My family had the Beef Wellington and it was fantastic! This restaurant's success will continue as long as they continue to produce quality...food and services!More

One of our favorite go to restaurants in Augusta. Nice atmosphere and local ingredients. I have never been disappointed with the specials. They have several regular items for people who want consistency. I highly recommend for business meals and special occasions.

Great Dinner tonight! Frog Hollow always has great food, drinks, and desserts. I had their famous pork chop, she-crab soup, and Creme Brûlée. My wife had the Angus Beef Short Rib. Everything was perfect. Andrea provided great attentive and friendly service. We had an opportunity...to use our Christmas Gift Card. Price is a little higher than some places but food quality and fine service make it well worth it and a favorite stop for us.More

We actually never even went because they couldn’t accommodate our party. We had a party of 14 reserved back in October of 2019 for our daughters 16th birthday party. We have family coming in from AZ, FL, and AL. We call two nights in advance...to ensure our reservation was finalized. NOPE. Got the manager, Amy/Amanda, and one of the employees and all they can say is “Sorry and we NEVER cater to parties larger than 12.” Thanks for nothing Horrible customer service, incompetent staff, obviously, and LIARs. Would not recommend this place for any reason.More

Street parking is generally available at this end of Broad Street. There is limited parking behind location. I have not had too much trouble with parking.

Of course! We suggest smart casual for diners and prefer if men do not wear flip flops, tank tops, or hats. Look forward to seeing you soon!
