We have eaten here on several occasions and you could not ask for anything better. The food is amazing and the staff is beyond professional. They handle service in a first class manner and unless you are really watching you don't see how all the...parts are moving seamlessly together to create top notch dining experience. You can't go wrong no matter what you choose from the menu.More

The food and service at this restaurant were outstanding. Katie, our server, “sold” the pork chop special. It was literally the most tender and tasty pork chop we have ever had. The sides were great as well. The other dinners, including shrimp and grits were...outstanding as well. Katie was informative and attentive. The evening was special. If there was any downside it would be that the restaurant is a little noisy. Otherwise it was perfect.More

In Augusta for the first time, staying at the Hyatt House Downtown, weary from a construction lengthened interstate ride, we held little hope of a decent dinner (the hotel had only quick nab options), so were happy to find anything close. The Frog Hollow Tavern...is Right Next Door. While popular, the Tavern still had an early opening left. The hostess was informative & very pleasant on the phone--offering choices. We got a nice two top near the bar (great for faster service!). The Tavern is tastefully decorated, warm woods, neutrals, the classics, providing a cozy, deja vu, good feeling. There is noise, but baffled, not overwhelming, rather the comfort of dining fellowship. And the Frog Hollow follows through: from a great bar (liquor in your bourbon & soda & a perfect balanced Cosmo & plenty of choices) & wine or beer list, to surprising appetizers, salads (try the pressed Watermelon & Arugula salad-- amazing arugula), entrees ( filet top notch...& more), & desserts (of course GA Peach treat for one) -- all farm to table-- to coffee (fresh local roast) (& post meal liquors we did not have)-- A Gourmet Delight, Relaxing place. To say nothing of the GREAT SERVICE. Friendly, Professional, On Time, Not Fake. Harkens back to the old days. I think of the Brown Hotel in Denver in the 1960's (I was a kid then). But New and Fresh. More puns? We had a hopping good time.More

Visiting from Arkansas for the Peach Jam. Just happened to walk in the Frog Hollow because it’s close to the convention center. Wow! Awesome food. Awesome service! We will definitely be back before we leave town!!!

Good food, a little overpriced. The main thing is it was so crowded & the chatter, background noise was loud. A lot of booths/tables close together & they were packed. Not the restaurant's fault they were busy, but it was not something I'd want on...a couple's date nightMore

Everyone kept saying “you have to try the pork chop”! It was great! Usually something like this won’t live up to the reputation. The Pork Chop at Frog Hollow was awesome! Perfect! The Best! My wife had the crab cake. Also huge! So we shared....But the pork chop was definitely the better choice. Our server Colleen was very friendly and efficient. The classic rock music on the sound system was perfect for me. The only down side was the hostess. We arrived a little early and assumed we might have a cocktail at the bar while we waited for our table. However the curt unfriendly somewhat rude (don’t want to say “B”) hostess said the bar was reserved for those who were going to eat. The bar was half empty and we were only hoping to be there for 10 minutes. Your loss. Sorry we couldn’t spend a couple extra buck at your bar cause your hostess was rude. Other than that. Love love loved The Frog Hollow Tavern.More

One of the best places if not the best place to eat at in Augusta. Great service with Great food. The cost is high but worth every penny you pay and would argue that you could not find a place that provides the same portion...sizes and quality for a lower price. Staff is friendly and atmosphere is elegant yet you don’t have to worry if you show up in casual. Definitely a must stop and try. I had the pork chops with Mac and cheese and collard greens. Great southern food to try while your visiting.More

We always enjoy Froghollow for a date night. We love the wedge salad, pork shoulder, pork chop, Mac n cheese, and collards. We have noticed a decrease in the portion size over the past year, but the food is always delicious. Service is excellent as...well!More

I could not get a reservation on short notice, so I dropped by and snagged a seat at the bar. Social distancing applied there and the bar and wait staff were all masked. The balance of the restaurant was full of patrons (an remained so...during my visit) when I arrived at about 6:45 PM on a Saturday night. The menu looked delicious and the specials sounded great. I started with the Apple Carpaccio, wonderful. Then I enjoyed the Braised Park Shoulder which was served with Collard Greens and a rectangular serving of Au Gratin Potatoes with smoked Gouda if I recall correctly. The bartender explained that most of the ingredients on the menu were locally sourced and the house specialty was anything with pork. All in all, I think I ordered too much food. Well certainly so after the served me home-made bread and butter consisting of two slices each of a multigrain bread and a sourdough bread. Yummy (I ate all four slices, which may explain why I thought I ordered too much food). I rarely dole out a "5 circle" review, but Frog Hollow Tavern was unexpectedly good and most deserving of high praise. I do not think you would be disappointed.More

Street parking is generally available at this end of Broad Street. There is limited parking behind location. I have not had too much trouble with parking.

Of course! We suggest smart casual for diners and prefer if men do not wear flip flops, tank tops, or hats. Look forward to seeing you soon!
