Gorgeous view, great food, excellent service

This was a wonderful evening spent with good friends. The food was delicious and in good sized portions. We had 3 appetizers, the best was the tuna. I had the filet with a tamarind sauce and it was wonderful. José was our waiter and he did a great job. The view was spectacular, we were there for sunset and fortunately the weather was clear

The finest dining experience in Teguz.

Wow! What a fantastic experience. We owner several restaurants. We were very impressed. We were cordially greeted at the door. Given the best table. Our waiter was spectacular. Ask for him, Josue is his name. He suggested an incredible champagne. He guided us through the menu. 3 apps and 3 mains. Every bite more delicious than the last. The view is second to none. It’s a must visit while in the capital. Thank you Josue and staff.

Incredible beautiful, nice service, professional attitude, the personal were great. Dinner was incredible and the view marvelous, I enjoyed my birthday in such a beautiful environment.

Same poor service and food

We have been to La Cumbre at least 5 times in the past few years. We love the view and location. The end result of our visits remains the same. Poor service and food not up to par for the prices.This last visit was the same. We heard there was a new chef and better menu. Not true. Same menu. Same cold food. Same wait staff. We had to ask for bread when they initially gave us platanos chips. The bread was not fresh. So in the end the visit was for the view and not good service or food.

Overrated, the menu has a lot to improve, tuna tartar was disappointing, mussels with tequila reduction was satisfactory, the mero ( grouper ) did not taste good, the lamb chops did taste good, the view of the city is excellent, as was the champagne.

Amazing Views and Excellent Food

Located just 15 minutes from the heart of Tegucigalpa, La Cumbre (the summit) is a wonderful choice for lunch and dinner. The views of the city are breathtaking, the service is impeccable, and the food is delicious. By far, my favorite place to have a meal in Honduras.

Great food, great ambiance the service was really courteous and knowledgeable. And the view is breathtaking, best to visit at night to really appreciate it.

This place is beautiful I must say. Only if the employees were on there game. When we arrived we weren’t greeted. They seemed busy setting up for an event. The service was terrible. For the amount you spend the service should be top notch! Very disappointed as we travelled from Washington to visit this beautiful place. I will say the views are amazing! That’s all your going for! Will never return.

Always Memorable

This is my favorite restaurant In Tegucigalpa. I come to town occasionally and like to enjoy this place every time I am in town. The view of Tegucigalpa is spectacular and always reminds me of the beauty of Honduras. The food and wine selections are great. Since it is a very nice restaurant I could not politely lick the plates so I had to use the bread to retrieve all of the great flavors from the plate. It’s a great experience. I’ll be back.

Exquisite food in a beautiful setting and a wonderfull view of Tegucigalpa. Great staff and service. I try to go as often as I can. The place is pricey, but worth it.

La Cumbre is one of my favorite restaurants in Téguz. Although they had two events the evening that we went, the service and food were great. The only issue that we had is that we were told that the billed tips are only partially distributed to the employees. Therefore, we decided not to include the tip on the check and left it in cash. Apparently, the partial distribution of the billed tips is a bad practice in Honduran restaurants.

Beautiful Views

Visited in July 2019 for a wedding at the upper venue. The views are fantastic and absolutely why everyone comes here. We had a variety of foods including a whole roast pig, which was fantastic.

This place is all about the views! Go for dinner and enjoy as the lights come on and the city glows below you. Cool breezes flow in the open windows of the wonderful building sitting on the edge of the cliff. Food is Ok and pricey of course for Honduras but really worth the trip if you can afford a $100 dinner

Not a good place for meat lovers. Rib Eye it’s not good at all , burned it the outside. Side dishes are very good.
