I stayed on Utila for 5 days and came by this place every day for lunch and it was never open. The people in the store next door kept telling me "maybe tomorrow". There are no opening hours given anywhere. A sign on the front...gate would be helpful!More

As someone lucky enough to live on the island I find myself in a rut as I know what I like and where to get it, so visit the same 3 restaurants over and over. Not this day, twas 4pm and I needed me some...nachos! Mo's did not disappoint, the beers were frosty cold, my nachos fresh made and quite possibly the best on the island. Couple that with attentive service and endless entertainment in the form of main street and some busy dive centres to gawk at and it's a win-win-win. Thanks Mo and crew for a yummy bite 10/10 would do again.More

Don’t let the subs name fool you, yes the subs are great but there is so much variety to the fantastic food at this place. Every day the specials are delicious. My favorite standard they make are the veggie baleadas with avocado, best ones on...the island. Add a little of the Mo’s Picante sauce for some extra zip. Best special I had was the fried and stuffed plantains. The music is cool too and the owner is a great DJ who can handle a variety of music tastes to match your dining tastes!More

The food is very good here! Service was great, Mo is funny and has a great spirit. Hit the spot after hours of diving and being on a boat!

After diving with UDC we went across the street for lunch at Mo's. The drinks were cold the choices of food were great...from breakfast to dinner type of options. If you wanted spicy you could....you wanted mild you could....wanted fish tacos you could. Mo was...actually our waiter too. If you wanted something just ask and if he could make it happen he did.More

Moe is the dude, has stories for days about growing up life in the island so it’s a good spot with friends or solo to hang with moe. The place has a tree growing up through the floor which gives the atmosphere a treehouse feel....He grows/roasts his own coffee, makes his own pasta and uses quality ingredients. Prices are on par with what you’ll find up and down the streetMore

Stopped in for a great breakfast. Very cozy and nice atmosphere and Mo very friendly and cares about his food. Everything made from scratch and fantastic coffee from his family's farm. Worth the visit!

Mo's is an awesome place to eat great food with friendly service. Mo makes his own pasta from scratch.. some of the best I've ever had. He loves making sauces too which complement all of his dishes. I would always recommend this place!

Great shrimp tacos, and peanut-butter & banana smoothies in quaint, unprepossessing setting. Veggie curry: fresh and plentiful. Several steps above the usual baleadas and beans. We liked it enough to go again and again. Very lovely owner.

A great place for lunch or dinner, Mo' Subs looks to be a "hole in the wall" but it has an extensive menu and the food is cooked fresh. The smoothies are great!
