We had dinner here one evening and I must say, some of the best, reasonably priced food ever! Everything is made fresh, based on what is locally available and when it's out, it's out. Not open very many nights and I suggest going on the...first or second night in order to have the best selection of meals.More

This was one of the best meals we had in Roatan. The views, food and service were top notch. The spicy shrimp with cream sauce was amazing, unlike any thing I’ve had before!

This is a great stop for supper after exploring the east end of the island. Be sure to get there before dark to enjoy the view. The food and service were excellent. The pork chop, salad and grilled veggies were all done perfectly and we...shared a piece of Mango cake afterward for dessert. I would definitely go again. It was one of our best meals on Roatan to date.More

We were brought to Cal's for lunch while on a day tour of the island. The food and drink was excellent. The staff was friendly and prices were fair. The restaurant overlooks the sea to the south of the island. We weren't big fans of...Roatan but reccomend this spot for anyone that visits the island.More

And the food is good too! It's a little out of the way if you are visiting from a cruise ship, but give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

Our host at Puerta Azul in Sandy Bay, Talia, recommended this Cantina. We are so glad we decided to check it out! We had the Amber Jack fish with lime creme sauce...Best fish dish ever! Wow! If you visit Roatan but don't visit Cal's Cantons...you may as well have stayed home!More

My wife and I stopped in at Cal's yesterday afternoon while out exploring the island in our rental car. If you visit Roatan without seeing the east side of the island you are missing out! The elevations and views are spectacular! Cal's was excellent, and...fun. Bartender Ezekial? Made my wife a perfect margarita, I had an ice cold beer and we shared fish tacos. It could not have been better. 14 bucks total, no kidding. Place is for sale but I hope nobody buys it. Sorry Cal but I want to enjoy your cooking in the future! Highly recommend!More

Our last visit to Cal’s was in 2015 and I eagerly awaited this return visit. The food was delicious as always. We enjoyed the conch fritters, grilled shrimp and fried lion fish and were amazed at how an expert chef could make sautéed vegetables and...potatoes taste so good. Hopefully we won’t have to wait another five years to return to Roatan and eat here again. It’s a bit out of the way but SOOOO worth the trip.More

High on a hilltop overlooking the ocean. Cal knows how to cook. His sidekick server is the best. Had many different meals and all were excellent.

Visiting Roatan again, Cal's was on my mind! I had to have lunch there again because it is soo yummy and a fantastic view. I had the Wahoo entree and it was top notch. Seasoned perfectly, cooked perfectly and had some sort of sauce... mmmmm...MM! Also make sure you get the jerk wings. YUM. I had a margarita and that was super tasty as well. Make sure to stop here because you won't regret it!More

Once again an excellent meal will an Beautiful view. I don’t normally get things I can easily get at home but I thought I would try the Jerk chicken wings and the they were arguably the best wings I have ever had in my life....I recommend them to another couple that came in that we were talking to and she said the exact same thing. The fried conch is recommended as well. Be sure to take some of the hot sauce home with you.More

I had the coconut shrimp with veggies. My 2 y/o loved the veggies so much I barely had any! Seasoning was delicious. Family had the Island Burger and said it was the best burger they ever had. Reasonable prices, AMAZING scenery.

We always try to make it at least once to Cal's when visiting Roatan. This time we included it into our tour we took and asked the driver to specifically stop here. The garlic shrimp was excellent. My favourite this time was the lime margaritas....They only use freshly squeezed lime juice and they were delicious. The curry pork chop was spicy, juicy and to die for. Next time I will try the burger as it was highly recommended also.More
