A tightly chopped mix of conch, fish and shrimp, with tomatoes, onions, jalapeños and cilantro. It was good enough, we went back 3 more times in one week! The lobster tail special $16 for two tails, two sides is held twice weekly-yes, we hit that twice as well. Happy hour is generous and the staff is friendly and attentive. Do... More

Our recent visit to Foster's was a huge disappointment. My son and his wife had eaten there two previous visits to Roatan and took me their as a special treat. I'm not sure how the lobster was prepared, but we couldn't even eat it because of the mushy texture and bad taste. The waiter did later bring us some grilled... More

Foster's is hard to beat. You can hire a tour on the glass bottom boat, you can eat at either of two restaurants and you can swim in best beach on the Caribbean Sea. The Bloody Mary's have a touch of chile cabro which makes it the wildest drink on the menu.

we have been going to Roatan for 2 years and just finished our 3rd trip. there are so many good restaurants on West Bay Beach. We had never been to Foster's before but decided to go with our group of 8. The service was terrible, waited and hour and 20 minutes for our food and it was not ever crowded.... More

Have traveled to Roatan 5 times. This was the first and last time I will frequent this establishment. Service is horrible, food is worse. We had 8 people in our party - only 4 other guests in the entire restaurant waited over an hour for food. Then 2 of the orders were completely wrong and the waiter argued it was... More

The lobster special was dry and the drinks are horrible. The owner was rude and over charged us for drinks and taxes. The only good part was our waiter very pleasant. There are many other great restaurants in the West Bay for you to try.

The food was not bad, though the quantity was not what was described by the waiter for an $18 meal. When it was time to get the check, I was charged more for the tax than the standard 15%. When paying the bill in the Honduran currency, I also did not receive the correct change back. And they would not... More

Our waiter though attempting to please and eager to serve seemed confused as to what was on the menu and what the specials were then didn't even know what they had for dessert! The Sunday Pincho (kabob) special was a hoax as at 7:00 pm they didn't have any and said it would take 1 1/2 hours to prepare. We... More

I was so happy to learn of this place re-opening. We were told that the same cook worked here as before they closed. The setting is spectacular. The beer was cold and the wine was good. Had shrimp on their shrimp special night, it was over cooked and a bit rubbery. Hubby had fish tacos and he really enjoyed them.... More

We stayed in West Bay and eat at this restaurant twice in 10 days. Cannot beat the 3 lobster tails for $19 cooked to perfection.
