Horrible experience! Had high hopes after all the amazing reviews online about the cafe. I arrived, disgusting and rude waitress who basically ignored me. Coffee was burnt and not prepared well. I wouldn’t go back or recommend this place to anyone. If you want great coffee, so many other places in Pana and around the lake.

Coffee was amazing. A cafe filled with travelers and locals alike. Although it was my first visit to Crossroad's Cafe, the conversations I had with Mike made it feel like I knew him for a long time. He is a very kind man and if you don't drink coffee, go to just meet him! I bought 2 bags of coffee to take home to the States. My mom says the organic Hue Hue roast is the best coffee she has had in her entire life. I am sitting here enjoying my last pot and am missing it terribly. Hoping to travel back soon!

Very special place in Pana to have a coffee or to take some bags of it home as a souvenir or simply to enjoy it later. They have a variety of different types of coffees, different roast and different price ranges. Really recommended

Adele’s famous blueberry pie is a “can’t miss” when visiting Crossroads Cafe! And that’s after you’ve tried the cinnamon rolls and truly fabulous coffee. The sweets and coffee mixed with entertaining chatter makes for memorable Pana experience. You can’t go just once.

The perfect coffee bar if you want to have great coffee and a good talk. It doesn't take you long to understand that Mike loves coffee and its production. He is entertaining and not only knows how to make a really good coffee but also how to connect people. After having a cheesecake there I immediately ordered a second one. Absolutely non negotiable :D

We visited the Crossroads café with high expectations and were not let down. The coffee was incredible as was the carrot cake. Byron also showed us the roasting room and invited us to come back at 9am the following day to see him actually roasting the batches of coffee, we came back and he even let us have a go at doing it ourselves, explaining all of the important details and patiently putting up with our broken Spanish. Thanks for the experience - would love to come back again!

This was a great place to come in for a quick coffee and desserts. It does cater more to visitors from outside of Guatemala so if you are looking for something more familiar than this might be more your speed. The owner is very friendly and welcoming. Please be aware that they do not accept credit cards so make sure you have plenty of quetzales on hand to pay for your bill.

Such an amazing place! It’s run by the original owner of 20 years, Mike. I also met Byron and his sister who are both Guatemalan and are taking over the helm. They are all very friendly & roast and serve the greatest coffee I’ve had in Guatemala & I’ve been looking. It is off of the main road but super easy to find.

We went to Crossroads Café after spending a rainy morning in Reserva Natural and it was the best choice. They were so welcoming and we had the best coffee ever (with a slice of heavenly good carrot cake). If you‘re in Panajachel you just have to pay them a visit!

I visited this place after spending some time walking around the various different coffee shops in Pana, if you're like me you'll plan your travellers around accessing the best coffee first. I found this place and was immediately drawn in by the character, vibe and friendlyness of the place. The decor is really cool, the music and the hospitality! The owner Byron works really hard and invited me to see his 'secret' roasting room, his award signed by Barack Obama and the cafés acknowledgement in a world magazine. He asked me if I wanted to come back the morning of the next day to see him roast the coffee to which I said yes! Byron knows alot about the speciality and precision of coffee and he even invited me to have breakfast with him and his family afterwards! 100% I would visit again and recommend to others! Just be a good egg and you'll get goodness in return ☺️✨ Lois

Now run by Byron (the original owner has moved to South Africa, where his wife was born), this cafe is a delightful stop to make, and if you’re a Geocacher, the only place in town to find one and get your Guatemala souvenir. We enjoyed the coffee very much and the carrot cake was AMAZING!!! Bring your own container so you can take a piece with you! Byron gave us a little tour and told us about hoe he makes the coffee, and gets his Amazing Grace beans. He also showed us his awards signed by former US President Obama. Our group also bought T shirts and hats. The stop was one of the highlights of our trip !

Great coffee and such a friendly place! Both the barista and the master roaster, Byron, went above and beyond and were generous with their time, making us feel like such honored guests!

Amazing coffeeshop in the heart of Pana. I recommend any of their house brews and some of their pastries. All their coffee is roasted on site and is super fresh.

This is a great little coffee spot where the excellent brew is only made better by the charismatic Mike, who if you're nice to him will show you the secret room where the coffee roasting happens and explain to you the different local coffee farmers he works with.
