We were traveling with our Salvadoran & Guatemalan guides so thought we should have drinks at this Salvadoran bar. They pulled together 3 or 4 tables for us and we sampled some rum, had some beers and got lubricated before dinner (the cook was off this evening).

Busy little pub-like bar/cafe serving tasty pupusas (recommend the bean and garlic ones) with decent salad and chili sauce on the side. Beers here are good value too

The place was very casual and unassuming. They specialize in Pupusas which is a an El Salvadorian specialty. The owner was very friendly. We ordered the pupusas with spinach and cheese and one with beans. The corn tortilla shell was very soft in texture and not oily. The fillings were mild and one could taste the flavours of the ingredients... More

We had a group of 7 and sat at the bar which was a blast. Hand squeezed margaritas, homemade pupusas, killer micheladas and a super nice (and fast) El Salvadoran owner/operator husband and wife. We ate and drank our fill for $50 USD and had a hoot of a time doing it.

The food is very simple, nevertheless it is very tasty. Although the owners are from El Salvador it is a good place to try the authentic 23 years aged Rum of Guatemala (Ron Zacapa 23 años).

Enjoyed a lazy satisfying dinner with with friends and family (including two teenage kids) on a hot evening in late July. This is not fine dining, but if you do it right you'll have an excellent meal. Pupusas are a Salvadoran dish: a thick corn tortilla filled with cheese and other ingredients, as you like (ground pork, beans, mushrooms, flowers,... More

Sat at the bar and had the BEST supper- first pupusas we've had and they were divine!! The cabbage and spicy accompaniments made them even more DELISH!! We will be back.

We had heard a lot about this place and their pupusas. We stopped in one afternoon and tried the cheese and garlic pupusa. Very tasty, very cheesy! Only Q 10.

Really nice place, nice service, great food and very fair prices! As mentioned by other reviewers, this is not the place for a candlelight dinner, but if you are up for some good and filling pupusas, this is a MUST! There are a number of options - even vegetarians have several choices - and it's really yummi! Glad I found... More

We were going to eat at Guajimbos but after sitting there for a while with no approach from staff and, for Guatemala an expensive menu (we got these ourselves), we opted to leave. We saw this little restaurant which was pretty much full and decided to give it a go. The staff were so friendly helping us with the menu... More
