This hotel restaurant is consistently good. I've been here five times now and I am completely satisfied by their food and service. They have several non-meated pasta dishes, a couple of vegetable dishes and several good salads. I thoroughly enjoyed an avacodo, pesto, tomato salad and a cheese ravioli entree. A great selection of beers, wines and well drinks are also available.... More

Had the most wonderful curried shrimp avocado salad here! Fresh, tasty, perfect after our boat ride round the lake. Best lemonade con soda on the trip:) Others had sandwiches....all nicely prepared and delicious. Lovely gardens to walk around before or after lunch...filled with amazingly different colored hibiscus.

We had breakfast once, dinner twice and lunch once at the restaurant and the only meal I enjoyed was the fajitas. The seasoning was not very flavorful to me and even in the salad, the tomatoes were not that sweet and the dressing was a bit bland. In addition, the prices were quite high so unfortunately, I didn't like this... More

We came here to see the Botanical Gardens in the hotel surroundings. Paid 55 Q each to enter but was given that back in credit off our meal at the restaurant. Had a great club sandwich each after wandering around the garden. Sit back and relax and enjoy the views and the cocktails we excellent. Would recommend to other traveller's.... More

The restaurant has a decent offering and good food with nice views of the lake. The service was fast even though we ate at a busy time. However if you're not staying at the hotel they won't let you use the pool, even for a fee. It was a nice day out and it would have been nice given we... More

Not cheap by Guatemalan standards, but the setting overlooking the lake and volcanoes makes it worth it. Be sure to sit outside on the patio. It's open all day and there is a full bar and lounge inside. The menu includes some Guatemalan items but is mostly international. At night the waiters dress in traditional Panajachel costumes.

1. Gorgeous old hotel only slightly marred by two ugly high rises added to the original 2. Eat and stay at hotel; restaurant has best view of lake and volcanoes from its terrace 3. for a 5 star experience stay and eat here

Restaurant is great (if a little slow, but who cares with views like this?), with an aviary running alongside the indoor dining room in case you can tear your eyes away from the views and the gardens. Eat outside on the patio and soak in the awe-inspiring volcanoes. We had breakfast, lunch, and late evening bar snacks here. The food... More
