The personnel from the hostess to the person at the register were super courteous and friendly. The atmosphere is authentic of Guatemalan costumes and traditions, with live marimba, personnel wearing an attire representative of one of the indigenous region. Delicious food at a fair cost.

Kacao restaurant is a great restaurant located in a Guatemala City safe zone. The food is great and the restaurant offers a variety of dishes from all Guatemala regions. The price is a little expensive, but worth it since the food is great.

A big group of us came here and had a great evening. Admittedly they didn't want to turn up the music once we had eaten and wanted to party but that's understandable! Great food and great service.

This was the first restaurant in Guatemala City that I tried that had typical foods. The ambiance was nice and the staff pleasant. I highly recommend.

Traveling in GUA for business. This restaurant was close to my hotel. Great ambiance but in my opinion the food was a bit bland and overpriced. Friendly staff and great service.

Highly regarded by my work colleagues for native fare. I tried the pepian and thought it was OK. Probably should have had them along instead of going solo to see what they eat :). Service was good, the band excellent. Only 3 other tables at...More

This restaurant serves traditional meals brought to you by waitstaff in native attire. Yes, this restaurant is very much geared towards tourists but the staff serve the food with gusto and professionalism. Enjoyed my meal here!

I always eat pepian or jocon and it's amazing. Other dishes look delicious but I really can't resist pepian de pollo

Traditional and gourmet Guatemalan food set on a large "palapa"style architecture. Upscale traditional decoration, local music and waiters with typical outfits; great for turists, out of town clients, families and local foodies. A wonderful Guatemalan experience right in the center of the Hotel zone.
