My family and I love the food, service and atmosphere at this restaurant! Best steak in town, shrimp and grits, potato leak soup, chicken crepes, French dip - it's all delicious! Best service personnel in town, too! Check it out y'all! Yums!

Went with a friend to this restaurant thinking it was one of the best in town. If it is one of the best, that's a sad thing for Americus. I ordered a steak cooked medium rare. It was closer to medium well. The twice baked potato was dry and tasted like it had been frozen and was freezer burned. The... More

Absolutely amazing restaurant! Would definitely recommend it. Make sure you make a reservation. The seared blackened tuna salad is awesome! Our server Ashley was truly a Georgia peach!

My wife and I had a pleasant dining experience. Our steaks were tasty. We loved the train ambiance. Being from Chattanooga, we liked the tributes to that railroad city we saw there. The service was fast and attentive.

Went for dinner and as we arrived we were asked if we had reservations even though there was only one tablé being used in the whole place! We were recommended here by the hotel as a great place for steaks. It was kind of expensive (25.00 for a tbone steak). You get the steak and a side and salad or... More

Good atmosphere, has everything from hamburger to large steaks. Waiters are friendly. The building is normally clean and well taken care of. Have been there with large groups with no problems. The owner is friendly and is willing to make your visit pleasant.

Recommended by the folks at the local Hampton Inn, this place is small, but very classy. No dress code, but there could be linen table clothes, nicely appointed, but simple. Great service. We had steak, and the rib eye was perfect! Also had the fried cheese grits. Wow! Think deep fried wedges of grits, rich with cheese. Meals are served... More

We read the menu in the window with 5 vegetarian meals on it but when we took a seat a new menu with no vegetarian meals on it was presented. We were offered boiled vegetables. We left.

Came here with family when the Rosemary & Thyme, almost across the street, though with a small percent of its seats filled, was apparently understaffed to handle our small party in advance of a large dinner group expected later. While majority of dishes were meat, The Station had excellent fish dishes, both blackened and sautéed. We were seated after a... More
