If you are stopping in PG, Asha's is a must. It is incredible food and perfect ambiance. Set right over the water, it is the perfect place to eat while enjoying the beautiful Belizean water. The drinks are delicious, and you can't go wrong with any dish that comes from the kitchen. Many nights they also have cultural drumming shows... More

Lovely clean restaurant on the ocean with beautiful views and tasty fresh food. Sometimes they have live music too.

Not only is the food wonderful, but some evenings there is also drumming by Emmeth Young and other local drummers.

We,ve had a wonderful diner and I love the concept of Asha's You choose a main and toen you van choose your own 2 sidedishes from a long list written on the wall. That's great when you love salads and veggies. The staff is very friendly.

Overlooking the sea, in quiet location on South side of town. Extensive and varied menu with plenty of local food choices as well as 'international' meals. Good value. Gets busy at weekends, get there early to ensure an outside table!

My friends and I spent 3 nights in PG and ate dinner at Asha's all 3 nights! The seafood is amazing and fresh. You pick your seafood of choice and then 2 sides to go with it, ranging from fries to salad or rice and beans. I HIGHLY recommend the Lion Fish in Garlic Sauce. Pair it with a Belikin... More

We stayed in PG for 4 nights and ate dinner at Asha's every night. Too many wonderful choices of fresh seafood on the menu to go elsewhere. Fish can be cooked one of 3 different ways (try the curried snapper). Each dinner comes with your choice of 2 sides, and there were plenty to choose from. Be sure to try... More

Excellent food and beautiful location. Walking distance from center of town. Lobster dinner was good value for money. Very cozy place to hang out on a balcony that hangs over the sea. Ian and Astrid

Much further down the oceanside road than we thought, had to ask several people where it was. The road is a bit rough, go slowly. Currently doing some expansion building a big dock, but this did not interfere with our meal. I had Snook with coconut veg rice and plantain, it was outstanding! At lunch it was only BZ$15. Fresh... ***Top quality seafood and barbeque in Punta Gorda***Relax at the only restaurant and bar around that is completely over the sea. Fresh meals are cooked to order with sustainably caught seafood; fish are often caught by Asha (the owner/head chef) himself. Open kitchen serves hearty dishes prepared with healthy ingredients.Listen to various styles of live music – including Creole and Garifuna drumming, Mayan marimba, and international performances – all while enjoying the Caribbean sea breeze with a view of the Guatemala highlands from across the bay.Exceptional service and competitive prices. Business practices are very environmentally friendly. Marine tours, sustainable-fishing classes, sunset-booze cruises, and cooking lessons are available. Great meeting spot to get to know the locals, meet other tourists, or get detailed information on Toledo. We cater to all needs; including large groups, food delivery, and a variety of events. Please call ahead for large groups, to-go orders, directions, or our music schedule.
