The restaurant was clean and in a good location, food was reasonably priced and was excellent, service was outstanding. our server was Hesha, I definitely will revisit this restaurant when in Belize next time
Highly recommend this small but comfortable restaurant in the village. Food was delicious and staff were very accommodating and friendly! Service was a little slow due to a full house (room was also a bit noisy!); but once the large group of kids departed, we...ate in relative quiet.More
This restaurant is very nice, the food is good and the service was excellent, well decorated and It is walking distance from all major hotels. Good place to relaxing and have some drinks after a day to the ruins
What a wonderful little restaurant. The decor and atmosphere is cool and relaxing. There is a Mayan theme and some unique decorative features I have not seen before in Belize. Our waitress, Tasha (I think, so bad with names and I’m sure I asked her...three times) was attentive and so friendly. She knew the menu well and was able to answer all our questions. We had questions because everything sounded good and we weren’t sure how to choose! I went with the pibil which is a Mayan specialty and it was so delicious. It’s a slow cooked (traditionally in the ground) pork that you eat taco style on hand made corn tortillas with pickled onions and sauces. It was really good. I was dining with 5 other women and they all enjoyed everything they ordered. We had some dietary issues as one woman couldn’t eat anything with onions or garlic and another had a gluten sensitivity but there was options on the menu to accommodate everyone and everyone enjoyed their meal. I would definitely go back when in Orange Walk and highly recommend Nahil Mayab.More
The staff is so accommodating and the food is fabulous! Meals are always freshly made and so flavorful. You can’t go wrong with their herbed creamy pasta, butter garlic fish, or their traditional rice and beans with stew chicken. Their bartenders make nice cocktails and...their happy hour specials are sure to please. We went three days in a row for lunch and dinner!!!More
Went there as a recommendation and as most places were closed down due to Christmas Eve. Service was slow even though they only had six tables seated. Food came out in a normal amount of time. Portions were small and food was so so. Prices...were on the high end for quality and portions. Would not go back or tell other to go.More
We got off at the bus terminal and headed straight to Nahil. It has a lovely decor with outdoor seating in lush tropical setting. They have a play area for children. The servers are really nice. We had soda to start. We had chix fajitas...in corn tortillas. It was delicious, it comes with pico de gallo and beans. We ordered extra pico and tortillas that have an extra charge. We ordered chix in curry and fish in curry that comes with coconut rice. It was absolutely delicious and flavorful. There are restrooms onsite. Our server was very helpful when we forgot our credit card. She chased us down to return it.More
